I'm visiting family for thanksgiving and I'm seriously thinking about lying to them about my arrival time just so I can get cake batter.

I like to sample all the new flavors, but I usually end up getting peanut butter fudge because it's the best ever.
One time the cake batter soft serve tasted like baking powder, which didn't make sense. But the other times it was delicious....

I've only been once and I can't remember what I got. Everything sounded so good, I can't remember what I ultimately settled on. Something chocolatey and caramelly. Needless to say, it was fantastic.

I think drumstick may be my favorite flavor so far. And, for ease of Googling, it's LulA's.

lula's!! it's so much better than stogo. i love getting peanut butter fudge with marshmellow creme. i really need to go back before it gets ridiculously cold, but at least the weather will make it easier to lug the ice cream uptown...if i can make it that far :D

Anything with marshmellows. I didn't realize how much I missed them until I had them at Lula's.

PB CHIP!!!! Chocolate Raspberry Swirl!!!!!!!!!! Except the first time I had the chocolate raspberry swirl I commented on how amazing it was and how it tasted just like this homemade ice cream place in my hometown and they told me that they made it the way they did that day by accident. I had it another time after this and it wasn't as good....they should have more accidents with that particular flavor, I think it had more raspberry in it the first time. Pretty much anything from here is a total party in your mouth/orgasm spontaneously worthy.

I've never been there on a day when they had this. I have to have this. I remember years and years ago when I was vegetarian that Ben and Jerry's had a short lived peanut butter and jelly flavor and it was surprisingly amazing.

It's impossible for me not to order cake batter when I go. I try, but I can't resist. Aside from that, espresso, all the way. Sundae with espresso + cake batter? Now, THAT'S the reason my roommates and I walk across the williamsburg bridge JUST for ice cream.
Oh man, that whipped cream... I have dreams about that stuff.

.....i'll go to foodswings for that. as long as they have flavors I want....otherwise might as well cross that bridge on my bike....I mean, if I'm about to get an entire pint of Lula's and bringing it home my asparagus probably should bike over the bridge more like 10 times.

Did anyone else see the Lula's employees in their adorable his/her costumes behind the counter last weekend? One was a bag of sugar, and the other was spice. Their faces were poking through a hole in brown paper while they happily scooped ice cream. It was so forking cute it hurt.

We should have little flags attached to our hats so we can find each other when any of us happen to be crossing the bridge at the same time JUST for ice cream.
