For those of you who couldn't wait for Westerly to re-open, the time has come. They reopened on Monday and I went on Thursday. The prices and products are pretty much the same, I think the produce looks better, but the place is immaculate. Aside from produce I bought some energy chunks and vegan manicotti which I couldn't find anywhere else. Delish!

I didn't know it was closed! Wish it was closer to where I live--I used to work near there.

Yay!! I used to always stop by after dance class and I've been going through major withdrawal. Time for some energy chunks...

Yayyy! This is always my pre-, in between, and post- show stop and I bring soo much home from it. I was so sad when I went on a 2-show day and saw it was closed!

Was there at least one a week when I worked in midtown! It's still a notch above most of the generic natural foods stores all over the place.

I would give my money to them before a huge chain store which is ruining the unique culture of cities everywhere. Plus Whole Foods is so massive it's a pain to get and out of the place and lines are long. I used to walk from my workplace at Columbus Circle where there is a WF in the basement, down the several blocks to Westerly to get prepared soups on my lunch break. Cheaper too. I'd stock up on bulk foods while there, and they have a grinder for bulk nut butters.

I'm really happy that Whole Foods ruined the unique culture of Omaha.
