Are you going to be attending this year's Walk for Farm Animals in Central Park? Are you not, but still want to help? Either way, come down to Halyards on October 25th for a night of drinks, vegan food, a chinese auction, and music. All profits will go to the Farm Sanctuary as an annex to its Walk for Farm Animals fundraising efforts. See you there!

Awesome! I've been looking for an excuse to go to Halyards! They do a vegan Thursday! This month is really tight, but I'll try very hard to make it.

Bump! Goodies from MyZoetrope, Animated Closet, a dinner by vegan chef Emma, and a Mystery Pack of Vegan Wonder are all up for grabs at the auctions of the night! Just got some goodies for you from SkinnySkinny, an all organic, natural and cruelty free bodycare boutique in Wburg, plus deeeeelish cookies from Champs Family Bakery. We also have goodies from lots of Brooklyn shops, a delicious menu prepared by Emma G, and Cupcakes done by yours truly.

Remember, Tuesday at 406 3rd Ave, at 6 pm, so you don't even have to stop home for something to eat. Just come out to Halyards ch'all

I love them.

For some free nom noms when you arrive, Sun in Bloom has provided us with amazing, Gluten-free muffins and cupcakes that are going to be the best after-work treat you can think of, believe. Oh, and stepping up to the plate with cookies are Champs Vegan Bakery! They are this super awesome diner in Williamsburg that now has a full breakfast menu available all effin day, so you don't miss out once 3 pm comes around...

For guys, we have a tee from Aoristic on Etsy... They're equal parts history, literature, and do it yourself. Very glad to have them on board.

Also... A lovely piece from Nu Bambu on etsy, whose designs are fun uses of stones, check them out! I don't do them justice, the pieces are gorgeous.

Barring an emergency, I'll be there!

ETA: If you need help tabling or serving or anything, let me know. Right now, I don't know anyone else going (but hope this will change!) so I'd be happy to help instead of being the awkward kid sitting in the corner by herself.

You won't be, SSD! Not if I can help it! We are all super friendly and are glad you're attending! As of now, we don't really need help serving anything, maybe you can help with the raffles? We'll need someone to sell the tickets to people and collect the money.

I am so down with the raffling, you have no idea.

I'll probably get there closer to 7 PM, but from 7-9, I will work the hell out of that raffle.
