I really loved it. To be honest I don't remember what my entree was (but it was good!), but I remember dessert really well - strawberry shortcake & tiramisu. Both were great, although the presentation sorta sucked. But that made it taste even better because I wasn't expecting it! Anyway, will go back for sure and this time I will remember my entree.

yeah, those desserts were so good!

that caesar salad was really good too. i thought sandwiches were just ok, but i still really like the place.

::edited because i think what i said sounded sarcastic and i didn't mean it to be!::

oh, snap! we went there together, ladies. that's when i got a terrible migraine and had to leave. BEFORE DESSERT.

that was pretty much the worst thing that has ever happened to me.

anyway, i love the caesar salad and the chickpea fries more than anything. i like the sandwiches but i've never had the japanese pumpkin one, which i always say i want to try but never do. i guess they have nightly specials now and it seems like the service has gotten so much better since they opened. pretty happy for that because it used to be this awful "take a number, sit down, and we'll try to find you" system.

Yes, totally, the Caesar salad was awesome. The migraine sucked.

Chickpea fries, seitan medallion sandwich, and tiramisu. Yes. Although I haven't really strayed far from what I usually get when I do go (which is infrequently). I'll try the Caesar next time, for sure. I love that I can save half a sandwich, too, and I can pack away a lot of food generally.

Ceasar salad and cheesecake! Also, they have a special (but consistantly as far as I can tell) of bean stew tofu and kale that is really good in a simple, comfort food way.

I think it's supposed to be the University Place/Union Sq area which would make me very happy.

wow the space is huge! I was not expecting that. Very light and elegant as well. I split an order of the chick pea fries, and then attempted to eat a whole panini sandwich, the seitan medallion. Had to save the 2nd half, too much food. Food was great, looking forward to trying other menu items. I hope this place is a stayer!
