I know this is the NYC forum but its not too far off. Has anyone been to LIVE in seaford on LI?

They just opened in December and i've been a few times. The pulled pork sliders are awesome...as is the spinach artichoke dip. Not everything is vegan....theres a couple things thats not but so far everything i've had is good.

thats their menu but the last time I went the said they are doing away with the cold sandwiches and putting a salad bar there instead.


Theres a bar next door called the Leaky Lifeboat that actually just won best bar or something on LI and its owned by the same guys. You can go over there and get your drink on and order food and they actually serve it THROUGH THE WALL.

Oh yeah. I've heard about that place. Sounds like it's worth a trek!

My friend went, and really liked it! It's especially cool that it's like bar food available after LIVE's open hours... one thing to note.

I've read about it but haven't been yet. I have friends who live on L.I. and we talked about meeting there -- glad to hear from someone who has eaten there and happy for the reminder!

I went! It was really good. It's kind of far from where I live, though. But it's nice to be able to have an after hours place!

Also, lovethybaker, where in long island are you?! I'm living near Stony Brook right now. We should meet up! I have only one vegan friend and she's moving to Germany in April!
