we hit up toadstyle the other day on our bike trip to NYC

the meatball sub was really really good. always great to have a meatball not made of TVP. the bah mi was good but not at the top of the list for me. we would have gotten more but had a whole day of eating planned.

We got lunch here today! We had the bbq jackfruit, the cheeseburger, and a kale salad. Everything was really good. I biked and it was warm out, so I appreciated the lemon and cucumber water on the counter. A really easy trip from my boyfriend's place, so I'm sure we'll be back.

Went there Tuesday, and tasted the cheeseburger and the eggplant parm (as the meatball sub was sold out). Both tasted good, but the real star of the meal was the fries!!! Aaaaamazing fries, perfectly crisp and apparently tossed in rosemary salt. Served with a tomato sauce on par with the one from Paulie Gee's. Also loved the cucumber lemon water. And the Manhattan Special Black Cherry.
I'd love to return!
