I just tried to go to the Cinnamon Snail, but the line was tremendous and it started to rain. So I walked by Rickshaw Dumpling Bar on 23rd and decided to check it out. (I'd never heard of it before)

WOW! YUM! The edamame dumplings were so good. I haven't actually had a lot of dumplings in my life, but of the ones I've ever had, these were by far the best. They were so tasty!

Turns out everything with a v next to it on the menu is vegan. I definitely would go back.

A few months ago, I ordered from the one on Lexington Ave several times per week. I think I've tried everything that's vegan and it ranged from really good to totally forking awesome. I've noticed the quality of the dumplings starting to go downhill lately, though. I thought maybe I was just bored of them, so I stopped ordering for a while, then went back and they still weren't ask good as I remembered. The sides are still great, though, so I'll make a lunch of warm sesame noodles, wakame cucmber salad and herby spring rolls, or something.

That's funny you got it several times a week - because I tried to go back on Fri! I think I got instantly addicted. I couldn't go that far because of a long conference call, so I ended up going to Boi Noodles which was closer. It was gross. Barely edible dumplings - they were nothing like Rickshaw. What made me go was the non-dairy boba tea, but even it wasn't very good. I definitely do not recommend Boi noodles!

Ha! The one on Lexington is right next door to a boba tea place! And Midtown Comics. So Wednesdays are often, comics, dumplings, boba and joy.

Thanks for the tip, guys! I don't know why I've never been there, but I'm working pretty close to there a few day this week and next, so I'll definitely check it out.

Good to know! When I go to New York I take Metro North to Grand Central and I always thought there was nothing good to eat around there. Nothing cheap, at least.
