Hello! I am going to be in NYC for literally 36 hours on my 30th birthday weekend. My friend (who is not a vegan) and I are staying in a hotel somewhere in Manhattan, and I'm hoping to have a dinner with some of my friends that live there (anywhere from 4-8 people total). I went to Blossom last year and LOVED it, and I am aware of Candle 79, but I'd feel bad making my friends pay a lot of money for an expensive dinner on my birthday. On the other hand...you only turn 30 once!
So - I'm looking for some thoughts on nice places to go out for dinner with a smallish group of friends that would be special, have good wine, and vegan dessert options. Or maybe some place I could meet people after dinner for wine and/or dessert?
We both used to live in NYC, but it's been several years, so I'd love some suggestions! Thanks!!
