Since I will be ready to go a little early, I will get there and try to get as big a table as possible to ensure everyone will be able to sit and enjoy! I will be the girl with bangs sitting alone, ha. Or maybe with a book. Feel free to walk up to me and get comfy.

I am stuck home. Flames' worker is making his monthly visit (that sounds wrong.) It's been so hard to coordinate schedules this fall I had to just take this time.

We had such a great time today! You guys are so awesome and fun! And I would never have tried Yonah Schimmel (because I've only ever had horrible knishes) but it was so good and so filling! The red cabbage one was awesome!

Second time meeting the peeps from the internets/PPK

Awesome time. Hope everyone visiting arrived at their next destination safely and are enjoying heaps of goodies from their stay. Good to meet you all, although a little strange to finally have my thoughts on food heard aloud and in another voice (What being around vegan foodies does to you).

It was so awesome meeting everyone! Thanks for the great company. Hopefully Trevor and I will come back to NYC sometime.

Yes! I had a great time. So good meeting everyone, and the cake I took away was awesooooooome! We're trying to make trips to NYC a more regular thing. It's a heart place.

So good to meet everyone! I'm glad everyone who made it was able to come out. I didn't manage to eat all that cake - I gave more than half of it away! But what I did eat was good. Oh, and I did manage to get to Dun-Well the next morning!

I didn't realize how short our trip really was. We were only in New York for about 48 hours. We ate at Imhotep, this crazy little Ital place at Nostrand and Park Place in Crown Heights. The food was amazing. Other than Champs and a stop at some burger place (Dutch Boy?) where I just ate fries (it was the same night as Champs), that's pretty much all we had time for. Oh! Fred's show was at a bar called Goodbye Blue Monday. They had chili cheese fries, which were vegan once I had them leave off the cheese. Those were really awesome. Perfect late-night bar food.

We kept talking about hitting up Foodswings, Dun-Well, Clementine or a couple other places, but Fred and I have been so freakin' busy lately, that we ended up sleeping in both mornings. We never even had coffee in New York.

The band has a show two days after my birthday in January. I have requested a longer, more food-intensive trip as my present.

It was sooooo nice tooooo meeeeeett yooooooouuuu guys!

I thoroughly enjoyed taking the trip to Champs, the chai latte, and watching that sick amount of cake that they gave you for so cheap! More to come, mayhaps?

You guys are all so sweet and fun, btw. Your respective cities are fortunate to be so vegan-rich.

I'm back to work today and I'm so missing NYC! I'll say again, it was so awesome to meet everyone, y'all are awesome and I hope we can meet again!
