I'm sad but I never ate there much. I'm sad because so many East Village places are closing period. I heard 7A is also closing. (not that it's vegan-just another example of what's happening in that neighborhood).

Have to admit I only ate there once or twice. The list of closed E Village v'gan places is growing, and it's starting to flip me out!

I just heard that Angelica Kitchen is in some deep debt and on the verge of closing too. Apparently they never really recovered after Sandy.

i went to quintessence a few years ago before moving here and i wasn't impressed by their food but it's sad nonetheless.
