My brother and his wife are visiting in a couple weeks and we're going to the Guggenheim on 88th & 5th. My sister-in-law has some kind of connection to get us in free (yay!) so in return I said I'd do the footwork of finding us lunch in the area. So far I'm lost.

We don't want to do too fancy and I'm sure that they'd want some omni options since the sister-in-law is notoriously picky (she doesn't like strawberries?!) - otherwise I'd totally beg them to do Candle 79 since I've never been. Although maybe Candle Cafe is more... accessible?

I'd love to hear your suggestions!

You could go to gobo - it's veg but pretty omni friendly since they have stuff like scallion pancakes that won't weird picky eaters out.

v-note is also in the area, and it's really good, but also more noticeably vegan.

I don't think candle cafe is your best bet - I think it might be a little too crunchy for someone like your sister in law.

Le pain quotidien is always a reliable option and I think pretty much everyone can find something to eat there.
