Hey ppk! My bf and I are visiting NYC for the very first time in October for 8 days (12-20) and are super excited about it (it's also my birthday while we are there). What are the top things we need to do there, best places to eat, best vegan shopping, etc? We are staying in the Hell's Kitchen area, so we should be close to the subway and hopefully walking distance to lots. Thanks!!! :)

Lula's for ice cream. The neighborhood it's in is very vegan friendly and near the Lower East Side where Moo Shoes is. I love the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The Staten Island ferry is a cheap way to see the harbor and the Statue of Liberty. You can also go to the Statue and Ellis Island. That's just off the top of my head.
