I'd like a fun vegan cooking class for my husband's birthday gift? Any ideas? Especially for classes where eating the meal and drinking wine is part of the class. thanks

there's this place, but it appears to be in NJ. are you looking for something within city limits, or can you travel a bit?

Another suggestion if you are willing to travel is Lalibela Ethiopian restaurant ( http://lernj.com/ethiopian-cooking-classes/ ) The owners are really great people. I've thought about taking a class there myself, but then decided I'd rather be lazy and have someone else cook Ethiopian food for me.

I second natural gourmet! I have taken two classes there, and both were awesome. They do have non-vegan classes, but they have plenty of vegan ones that are specified as such. The most useful class i have taken was the knife skills. You chop up stuff, and assistants use what you have made to create a delicious meal. I use what i learned in that class every time i pick up a knife.
