We're gonna be out around Cutchogue for a weekend soon. Anyone have recommendations for places to get food, whether restaurant or just a decent health food store? I suspect we'll be lugging all our own groceries but thought I'd ask!

My in laws live in Cutchogue. I have never had much luck at any restaurant there but my inlaws will only eat "american" food (sigh). Very difficult. One memorable place was in Riverhead (Riverhead Project) but even that was a challenge. I have had many a salad and pasta with just olive oil and garlic at nearby places. I really dread going out there. Kinda a dead zone for everything except sampling wines and going to farms. Sorry, wish I was more help (rather than just venting)....

It's not super close but if you drive past Port Jefferson on the way in or out there is a cute cafe called Tiger Lily we stopped at when we went out to the tip on the North Fork. Past that we didn't have much luck.
