Hi,
I am trying to figure out where my boyfriend and I should go for New Year's. I saw that V-Note is having a special menu with live music, but I wasn't completely impressed with their food- which is weird since it should be just as good as Blossom. I would also like to be close to Central Park to see the fireworks after our meal. Does anyone know if Blossom Cafe, Candle 79, or Candle Cafe will be doing anything special? I've been checking their websites, but haven't seen anything. Did they do a New Year's menu last year? Thanks!

Just so you know, you won't get the best view of the fireworks in Central Park. They are either over the East River or Hudson, and the closer you get to the water or the higher you get, the better your view will be.
