I can't visualize where it is there though. I never went to that Borders. Is it between 32nd-33rd?

It's on the southwest corner of 7th avenue and 33rd street. I've been missing that Borders, but having a Cinnamon Snail food stand could alleviate that sadness.

Thanks! I'm overly excited about this.

Has anyone gone? I will be there in June, possibly sooner. This will be my first stop. Cannot wait.

I have! It's pretty much exactly like I remembered. I went too late to get any creme brulee donuts but at 10pm they had plenty of other flavors still.

We are going Thursday and I've heard such good feedback, I can't wait.

We should probably make a new thread for the Pennsy location.....

It's on 33rd and 7ty Ave I a place called the Pennsy. It's on the west side of the street. You can't miss it there's a huge neon sign that says The Pennsy.

I'm headed there right now!

We didn't end up going because my daughter had the croup, so we still want to go! It looks like it's going to be very cold for the next 2 weeks but once it's a bit warmer we would love a PPK donut meetup!

I went today for the first time. I had the creole tofu sub, which was the special for this week, and a pistachio cardamom donut. Everything was delicious and pretty much just how I remembered it from the truck. The Pennsy has lots of seating inside and was a really pleasant place to eat (especially given how unpleasant most of the Penn Station area is). I went at an off time (~2:30) and there were only a few people in line besides me.

Adam was there so I told him how glad I am that the Snail is back. :) He said things are going well and they're hoping to figure out a way to offer breakfast at some point.

I made it today, had the creole tofu sub as well. Just after 2pm, no line at all! Breakfast would be kick-ass.

Also they were in Gothamist today:

I'm so mad this happened after I stopped commuting every day to penn station! My partner still passes through once a week and sometimes picks things up- so good just like the ol truck!

Apparently they also still take the truck to various places, I think it was just in jersey sometime last week... Saw on Facebook today they had unicorn donuts and I totally want one!

You should buy one of everything to create your own tasting menu and then post photos. (Feel free to FedEx me a doughnut; I'm not picky as to flavor.)

^^^ What lavawitch said!

Their special this week was lemon-grilled tofu on a pretzel bun with arugula, caramelized onions, pickles, and garlic mayo. It was delicious. Of the permanent sandwiches, my favorite is the lemongrass seitan. I'm not as big a fan of their veggie burgers, but that's just personal preference. The Beastmode burger gets a lot of love.

And you can't go wrong with their doughnuts, all the varieties I've tried have been amazing.

Hope you enjoy!

My first love was the maple mustard tempeh and I always go back to it but that special sounds pretty good. I'm going to be near there this afternoon, I think I'll pick up something for early dinner.

I follow them on instagram, and it kills me a little (as did this thread title popping up, because I didn't know it was old!). Today they had little pistachio cakes topped with unicorn cookies.

I agree get everything, and I haven't even eaten there.

So.....it was better than I could have hoped.

Beastmode burger

so fantastic

Korean BBQ open face

so tasty but very difficult to maneuver, couldn't really be picked up and didn't really cut well with a knife. I think this needs to be redesigned into something more manageable.

the cookie was great but the cake was a little too sweet for me

half eaten and perfect
