Hi, I am stuck in Detroit. We are trying to get to NYC today but I have no idea if we have any luck. I would still like to NOT cancel our Tuesday date just yet but might have to if I don't get out of here today or tomorrow.

oh man! i'm sorry eight! it's so crazy here right now. i hope you can get here soon, but today is so messed up. i definitely can't leave my house today (although i will have to trudge through the snow for some toilet paper eventually)

ok, I am in Ann Arbor and tomorrow we are flying into DC and then taking the train into NYC. so, I won't make Tuesday but it sounds like you guys are snowed in, too?

delta paid for one night at a hotel but today we are on our own. we lost so much money already.

oh no, i'm sorry! what a stupid time for a blizzard! i hope you make it ok. we are pretty snowed it. there are cars stuck on the a bunch of streets in my neighborhood and everything is pretty screwed up right now. It might be better tomorrow, but probably not much!

i won't be able to make it to a hang out on 30th as I'll be on my way to DC. sorry to miss you this trip, but good luck!

The subways are slowly coming back online here and I hope I'll be able to do my morning commute, but I'm not even sure.

Since we're missing it tomorrow, do you want to do Pukk + Lula's Thursday instead of John's?

We're pretty much snowed in. NJ is still under a state of emergency and NJ transit is a mess. Hopefully all of this will be fixed by Thursday.

I have to say we met some of the nicest fellow strandees, though. Today a couple offered us a place to stay and rides in the detroit area whenever we need them.

Delta website has been down all day, I wanna check in, that would make the flight tomorrow a little more real to me.

My plan was taking the path to 14th and getting on the F there. (The PATH website says that the 9th Ave stop connects to the F, but the MTA website says it doesn't.) Thanks for the info on which exit from the station -- I seem to have a talent for choosing the exit furthest away from where I want to go.

I am so exhausted by walking around and jumping over puddles today, I just sent Mr eight out to get food. :(
