I am super excited to be going NYC for the first time in a few weeks, and will only have 2 full days there and plan to shop and eat. I have a couple of questions though. Which vegan restaurant/eatery do you recommend I absolutely cannot miss?
I also plan on a trip to Mooshoes, but wanted to ask if there are other stores where I can find vegan shoes?
Also, are there areas where there are lots of boutiques (kind of like Newbury st in Boston)? I would prefer to stay away from large department stores as I get overwhelmed with their selection. Are there any shops I should check out? I welcome all your suggestions!

The area around MooShoes has Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Erin McKenna's Bakery, Bluestockings, The Reformation (sweatshop-free fashion + where I spend all my $$), so if you want to do some shopping that's more low-key than soho, that area is a good choice.

Thank you! This is great, I will definitely be checking out this area. Reformation, wow! I had never heard of them. Their clothes are so beautiful, I love their style. I also think I'm going to be spending some $ there.

So does anyone have a favorite place for pho or banh mi? Is there anywhere you can get a vegan croissant? Can you recommend a good place to get a soy latte and people watch?
