I eat out all the time but I never pay attention to which places have gluten free dishes. My mom and sister are coming to visit this weekend, and can't eat gluten, so I'm looking for restaurants that offer gluten free dishes and vegan dishes (but don't have to be necessarily have to be both on the same plate).
I know Stogo and Babycakes for dessert. Sacred Chow has alot of gf options, but I can't stand that place. Suggestions for places in Manhattan would be awesome, thanks!

If you like Daiya, Pala is great for pizza.

I second Pala, because thats exactly where we took my gluten-free aunt and omni sister. Fantastic vegan gnocci and delish Prosecco too, I seem to recall.

angelica kitchen has good gluten free options-their angelica cormbread with miso tahini spread, awesome salads, dragon bowls...everything is real good, and there is options! souen also has lots of gluten free options and i think is better than angelica(though close)and lists on the menu what is gf.

lula's can do for gf desserts too, thought stogo and babycakes are great options. counter and caravan of dreams are good though for counter you have to make a sub for brunch items. you can't really go wrong with souen, either.

Thanks guys! We went to Pala and it was awesome. It's great how the menu is straight forward about what could be gluten free/vegan. We were able to order everything gf & vegan so we could share which is always nice.
I never heard of Souen before now, maybe I'm living under a rock, but I'm going to have to try it.
