who has eaten here? I have always wanted to get a group of people together for dinner here. So, what are your guys' thoughts? Worth it to try the Chef's tasting menu?

my friend gavin used to be a chef there, so was another friend but she worked out of the cafe. gavin RAVES about the chef's tasting menu and recommended it to me and my boyfriend when we said we were going to go there over the summer for our anniversary. we went for lunch though and sat outside, it was a beautiful day. the drink selection isnt a soda type deal, there is kombucha and some teas and such. i wanted ginger ale but they were out.
foodwise from what i've tried, the mint sundae is FANTASTIC and the falafel salad is really fresh and tasty. i got the tiramisu which was pretty good but really, that sundae is out of this world. i also ordered the tacos with guac which was alright, the guac was pretty fresh but its kinda hard not to make good guac. in a recent issue of VegNews they posted the recipe for the mint sundae! (everything except the fudge chunks)
we have some groupons for 20% off so we may go for valentine's day dinner. not sure what i'll try this time! maybe ravioli if its still on the menu.
