deserves its own thread. the curry thai pancakes and basil mock duck are my shiitake.
but please, when you're standing by the door talking on your cell phone and recommending the joint to your friend, please do not pronounce the name "puke." you can imagine that would not be inviting. even if they answered "yes" when you asked "do you like thai food?"

I love Pukk. Everything I've had there has been good and the lunch special can't be beat. Nom nom nom nom!
We had a meetup there a few months ago. Fun was had.

I've been really into the gravy noodle lately and the mushroom puff appetizer. spinach toast is definitely awesome.

The boy and I tried to go Lan Cafe today but when we got there it was closed (despite a sign that said they should be open, so that's a bit annoying). Anyhow, we went to Pukk instead. The boy had Pad Thai with mock duck, which was solid. I had the Green Delight, four kinds of green veggies in a garlic sauce with brown rice. It was simple, but really delicious. Kind of slow service, but not too bad.
