What's the least romantic thing you've ever done on a date?

Being picked up at my uni library, after a long day of working on my thesis. My date was a sound engineer and I'm a stage manager. We drank a sixpack of tepid beer on the street and discussed working in music. (Which was just about as romantic as drinking tepid beer on the street with my colleagues. And no, it wasn't his fault. This bloke is really nice and the tepid beer on the street thing was my idea.)

So yeah, we never had a second date, but he is my colleague now. :)

do you make your bed every day?

No. Although sometimes I'll do it several days in a row.

What's your least favorite housekeeping task?

Washing dishes. I have no idea why but I hate it so much.

If you could magically become fluent in another language that you don't currently speak (like, POOF! you wake up and can speak this language!) what language would you choose and why?

I'd learn how to speak Dolphin. because dolphins forking rule, and it'd be wonderful to have a chat to some dolphinbros.

Moofree white chocolate bars! Too bad they're basically impossible to find in the U. S.

Vegemite!

Around 9:00.

I can manage three things in two hands, or two in one hand

No. . . I've tried many times, but I've never been able to do it.

blueeeeeee. I like them.

Octagon! I have deep octagon love.
What is your favorite musical note? (A, B flat, C, etc.) Bonus points if you have a particular octave you like that note in.

Umm no idea about music notes, maybe that big DDDDDEEEOOOONNNNNNNNNN twang at the start of The Beatles' "I Feel Fine"?

Do you dip biscuits (cookies) in your tea?

I dip speculoos in hot chocolate sometimes :) though I've lost many a scotch finger to an overdunk in my days

only if I can use my hand-digits.

How do you decide if the neighbors are being too loud?

I know that I usually sleep through everything and anything, and I'm pretty mellow on noise to begin with. I just realise that it's part of living in a big city with people crammed together etc. As long as it's not after 11pm or before 7am, I don't get bothered too much by noise from the neighbours. Except days like yesterday, when my trashy next door neighbours decide to turn every sentence that leaves their lips into a shouting match. And it's pretty foul. Something like: "YOU SONNOVABITCH, GO DO THE BLOODY DISHES YOURSELF, croissant." On end. For hours.

That's the point where they're being too loud.

Have you got any magazine subscriptions? If so, tell me about them !

My grandparents buy me magazine subscriptions, so I get a knitting magazine. I also get VegNews because I felt like I should try it out for a little while. Hilariously enough, (to me as a feminist with a BA in women's studies) the first issue was alllll about the dudes and masculinity. But not in a 'hey look let's seriously think about how our society sees gender.' No, in a 'DUUUDE, LETS BARBECUE' type way.

I don't think I'll be renewing.

Favorite brand of peanut butter?

I only really ever eat freshly made peanut butter! I guess I ate Kraft crunchy when I was a kid, so it'll have to be that :)

do you write on the back of your hand?

not since high school! but recently people have started drawing on my hands and wrists. that almost counts?

it's the first and last sunny day for months. you're off work and so's your bfffffff. quick! what do you do?

Pack a picnic lunch and some books, go hiking and swimming and lounging in the sun and reading and picnicking!

What cheers you up when you are hating everything?

Taking a nap, working out/running, drinking tea while crafting, hanging out with awesome people.

How many pieces of art are on your walls?

2 from tibet; 2 that a friend drew; 2 photos that a friend took; 3 pieces from the anthro museum in vancouver; a bunch of random doodles friends sent (and a lot of pictures, all over the place, of my guru).

do you wake up ready-to-go? or do you have to lay in bed for a while/otherwise prepare yourself? (i don't mean washing your face or changing clothes....more like: are you immediately awake or do you need transition time?)

I set my alarm earlier than I need to, so that when it goes off for the first time I take it as a signal to commence cuddling. Three or four snoozes later, I announce I'm getting up and then flounce around the house and begin my day. In other words, I'm immediately awake but need cuddling time.
