Summer cold.

I feel like I've left it too late to study for this maths exam and I've got so much to learn.

Had a huge explosive argument with my Mom today that left us both in tears.

Also, when your friend's little brother who you thought was joking was, in fact, flirting with you in earnest. There is so much that is awkward about this that I don't even know where to start, and I also now feel like a jerk.

Stomach is being a crasshole. Which is new. And fun. Hurray!

My mouth hurts. I got a temporary crown on Tuesday and my mouth has been sore since. It's sorta the tooth, sorta that general area, but it gives me headaches.
I'm going to take more ibuprofen and drink more wine. 12 more days until I get my permanent crown. Another whine, they wouldn't give me gold so I'm getting porcelain covered metal...I wanted a gold tooth!

I am having another breakdown. I keep crying. I keep freaking out.
I feel like the worst person in the world for not being happy for vyapti for getting a new job. But... damn... I have been looking for years, literally, years, and not an interview.
I hate that I hate so much right now. I hate that this isn't me and I can't keep being this.

well that was weird. I woke up to the distinct feeling that someone was choking me this morning. (in my dream, I was pretending to sleep, and they choked me with one hand). I couldn't move, I couldn't push them away.. totally paralysed while I could feel myself fading away.

it was made worse because it's the first morning waking up in this apartment, so I had no idea AT ALL where I was or what was happening.

Holy crepe, Josh. That's forking creepy. But if your apartment is haunted, maybe you can eventually be friends, like Dennis, Cordelia's ghost on Angel.

well, the rest of the apartment is awesome! I stepped in and a 27" cinema display greeted me. and there's almond milk, EB and all sorts of other vegan-related things (though, there are eggs..), so I think I'm ahead overall :D! if I make a new friend out of the deal, who am I to argue?

Trying to figure out the best way to handle Father's Day with my Ex ( Wonderful Father of our two children, and one of my best friends) who is grieving at the loss of his Father three nights ago... shittake, this really blows. I am also mourning the loss of the man I still call Dad... he was one truly great human being.

Josh - could it be stress from moving home? I had lots of weird, unnerving dreams when we moved to our current house. Children crying, someone touching me, the noise of a Zippo lighter clicking, an owl hooting, something falling over downstairs. They stopped after a couple of weeks.

woke up with a sore throat, not been ill for 1.5 years, im retaining water like a water balloon; its quite painful, I burnt a pan of chickpeas, and lastly my boyfriends poor dog had to be put down and I feel helpless to comfort him.

In hindsight, cookies for dinner was a terrible idea.

Well, it's a tie between three things.

Went to a barbecue where a good half of us were veggie and there were still a shit-ton of comments about how meat was so much better from the omnis. The fact that we were all chowing down perfectly happily on the non-venison and non-steak seemed not to register with them.

It was father's day. I decided not to say anything to the father of my daughter, but it has been a little bit hard, just like Mother's day (both the UK and the US ones!) was for me.

Someone who was once my friend sent me a message asking if I know anywhere local he and a friend of his could stay. He hasn't bothered contacting me since the last time he wanted to stay locally, which was when I was heavily pregnant. I have no idea if he knows what's gone on with me since but he obviously doesn't give a shiitake either way.

At the bus stop earlier someone had posted a leaflet for an organization called stopcrush.org. I'd never heard of it so looked it up when I got home and found out about animal crush legislation. I went on to sign an online petition to get the UK government to create legislation against it.

I took a bath and was reading my book and began to cry, I feel so sad for the animals who've been hurt and died for that stupid reason. I began to feel that activism and education is futile, people seem to be becoming more selfish and savage all the time so whats the point in even trying?

Pete talked me round but I still feel pretty awful about it.

Sleep paralysis? That happened to me once, but I knew what it was so I didn't freak out when I realized I couldn't move. It felt as though something was shaking me but I couldn't do anything about it before I "woke up".

I miss Effie. And I'm so hungover and nauseated and have to work soon. And I need the grow the fork up and remember that if I drink that much I am going to be hungover and hate myself the next day. Even if it's Pride weekend, even if I'm stressed, even if I ran into an ex-girlfriend, or whatever.

A couple days ago I dropped a glass measuring cup which SHATTERED everywhere. I thought I'd cleaned all of the glass up. Turns out one rogue piece flew into my running shoe. I discovered this a few minutes into my run when I found a shard of glass the size of my pinkie finger nail imbedded in my heel. Foot's okay though getting more painful now that I'm off it, finished my run. Have a cut-up and bloody sock to dispose of.

Sunburnt badly all over my shoulders and upper back. I really have to go buy sunscreen. I really. really. have to go buy sunscreen. If I say it enough, maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

Really... because she has not spoken to me in over a year. And only texted me last time to get me to do her taxes. I can't even with her. She wants to spend the week I am at moms with us. I can't do a week of her backhanded crepe.

My condolences, thisheregiraffe. There have been cast parties for musicals in the courtyard our bedroom windows look out onto, and they make me SO mad. Nothing to put you in a terrible, terrible mood like music you try to avoid being forced on you.
