No offense to those who didn't like this commercial, but I giggled right after the headbutt. However, it doesn't mean I'd allow someone to hurt me just because of a yogurt... Ok I think I phrased that wrong, I also meant I wouldn't allow anyone to hurt me. :))

No. What makes this funny is not that a woman head butts a man, it is that it is fantasy John Stamos. Yes they are in a kitchen, but I did not imagine these characters in a domestic relationship. John Stamos is the guy that comes to your house to tease you with yogurt and his eyes. He is not a date or a boyfriend or a husband, he is a sexy yogurt teaser. To me, the way they did the headbutt was slapstick, which I generally don't care for, and wasn't my favorite part of the commercial, but didn't take away for me what I found funny about the sexy yogurt teasing. Part of what makes it slapstick for me is that it is fantasy John Stamos, the way he falls and how when he gets back up he sees the yogurt and smiles, and also how unrealistic the whole scene looks. I can understand how with different life experiences this commercial could be interpreted in a domestic violence way, but that is not what I got at all.
