Missed PPKonnections

Have you ever wondered if that person you overheard discussing veganism/Daiya/Isa/tots was a PPKer? Post it here and maybe you'll find out!

My contribution:
Just a few minutes ago, you were walking through North Station in Boston with someone carrying flowers. You have short gray hair and your friend has long, curly dark hair. Your friend pretended to offer you the flowers, saying, "You're vegan, these are good for you!"

I don't want to date you or anything, I just want to find out if I saw someone I internet know!

Any PPKers who were passing out vegan fliers outside the convention center during Comic-Con? There were a bunch of flier-ers. It made me happy.

Apparently there are several Toronto PPKers. I'm in Kensington Market on a pretty regular basis so I'd be surprised if I havn't unknowingly crossed pathes with at least one of them.

It was my turn to provide post-talk refreshments, so I was there yesterday around the same time picking up an excessive amount of fruit, berries, nuts and other delightful snacks. If you saw someone with a red beard and a backpack stuffed almost to bursting, it might have been me. Perhaps we had... a missed PPKonnection

I joined the PPK after I met PPKers in Brooklyn, but I never found out their usernames so I don't know who they are or if they post anymore. You were couchsurf-hosting our friend Mark and we (Boyfriend, our best friend and I) came over for beers and a 4th of July BBQ. You taught us that putting salt on watermelon is A Thing, and you laughed at Boyfriend for thinking that fireflies were going to sting him. Then the next day we went to Foodswings and it was awesome. A couple of weeks ago we found some imported Brooklyn Lager (and obviously bought it) and it made us think of you!

We were playing outside with friends (all vegan), and one of my friend's neighbors came by. As we talked it turned out she was vegan too. And then she asked me if I know the PPK, because she lurks here. And then she recognized the name Tofulish!

I want to meet her in real life again, because she was awesome and her daughter was too sweet. So if you're lurking and remember me, PM me <3 <3 <3

Me: Long hair, glasses, sits on the couch in the evening, usually at work during the day

We exchanged a few words in the living room and snuggled briefly before falling asleep. You still out there somewhere? Leave me a note on the fridge!

You would never notice a note on the fridge.

Sometimes I see cars around town with vegan bumper stickers on them and I want to leave a note like hey do I secretly know you on the Internet? But then I think about that thread where the mean vegans left the passive aggressive note that one time.

If anyone ever sees my car around town, you have my express permission to leave me love notes. My car is a black Honda Accord with a blue COEXIST sticker on the back, PA plates, and huge boxes of sheet music and journals in the backseat.

three years ago sometime in the summer you were working at the bleeding heart bakery in chicago, I was sweaty and sunburned and wearing bike shorts under jeans and with a small blonde lady. you recognized me from here and told me your username and I forgot it because I am awful. Philly. It was at the Philly Convention Center the same weekend as the Trans-Health Conference, which I was at.

I was stuck in traffic a few cars behind one with a bunch of vegan bumper stickers, and I kinda sorta wanted to chase/stalk them, but this was in Harvard Square during total gridlock, and - *sniff* - they turned down a side street and got away before I could get any closer.
