I just found out that a childhood friend's dad committed suicide today. His son found him. I haven't seen this kid in years and years but I am so heartbroken for him and his family.

I don't know if this is anxiety or depression or both.

I'm facebook friends with a few people from the local vegan community and their posts with horrible animal rights pictures keep arriving on my newsfeed.

I'm so sorry kt, that's just awful, his poor family.

My forking back, it's been over two weeks now and the 'whatever it is' just keeps moving up and down my spine. It's not painful if I'm careful with it but it's constant cramping and restricting my movement. What the fork did that hospital do to me?! I need to see my gp but am avoiding the surgery this week because I have a big shoot on at the end of the week and I don't want to risk picking up any of the lurgys that are going around atm.

Oh crepe. That reminds me of what will surely be the worst thing about my day today. Making those phone calls I've been putting off! This is the first time I've had to do it and I feel so bad.

Yep, it's awful. And telling the person who got it is so great that you'd like to leave it until the end as a treat for getting through the others, but you can't in case they don't accept the job for some reason.

BG's been very needy and tearful. We have a urine soaked mattress to deal with. If I see the ex I may punch him in the face.

I've had a bunch of stress lately and ended up hyperventilating and bawling my eyes out for half an hour earlier. My boyfriend helped me calm down and I think I'm ok now but still.

I thought my son's sleeping was getting better but this morning I woke up at 4:30 and he was still up. Friggit.

A lovely morning of pruning the hedge was interrupted by a bite from a forking huge spider. Now my arm is puffy - taking Benadryl - and the spider is off to have a nap following her snack.

I woke up at three a.m. crying.

I am so tired I think I might actually die. My stomach has been horrible for days. I think I might be getting a cold, but simply cannot miss anymore work. And I keep dreaming about getting back together with my ex. Sigh.

Just met the woman who was chosen for office manager role over me (from external, I'm internal). Introduced not by the hiring person, but by the lovely lady who does the mail and has NO idea of what just happened. I now want to go crawl into a corner and cry. Having a hard time not imagining sabotaging her, but obviously have no real desire to do that. Just. Argh.

Ugh I so know ho you feel. When I met the externally hired person that screwed up my plan for the department, all I could do was hate her and want to sabotage her... but then realizing it's not her fault, she had no way of knowing she was messing anything up by applying and then getting it. UGH hug for you.

Hah. I've had similar evil thoughts about the new full time teacher who is a total rookie. I'll be nice ad helpful, of course. And I'll be expected to mentor and do a lot of the department collaborative stuff.

But I can't help being bitter that a job fair recruit had priority over me simply because I was part-time and thus ineligible for openings or transfers until the general public. I'd have taken the full-time job. (note that is is district level policy and nothing my admin could control)

Yeah. Pretty much. Today just kind of sucks and it made me mad at the guy in charge of hiring again (Who I'm mad at for more than just not hiring me). Thank you for the hug. <3

Guy that I liked and dated for the last couple of months just wants to be friends. Well, that sucks. On the upside, I'm going to clean out my fridge... which always feels pretty good.

I feel awful. I've been dizzy the past couple of days. Fortunately I don't have an ear infection, but it is very severe allergies that have my ears so clogged up that it's screwing with my balance. This was supposed to be my last week of internship for the summer, but I've been out everyday so far. I've been at my parent's house, because I had come over for my sister's grad party over the weekend, and I haven't been able to leave because I'm too dizzy to drive. Today, I packed up the car to return to my apartment, and after 15 minutes of quite dangerous driving (and 2 pieces of anti nausea gum), had to turn around. Then I sat down and cried because 40 of the kids at internship are graduating tomorrow and I won't be able to see it. I feel terrible.

My boss quit suddenly yesterday, on my day off. The other supervisor at work is on holiday, so I worked 11 hours today doing the jobs of 3 people. The rest of the week looks much the same. The head of our organization called me to say "We upstairs really feel your stress", which I somehow doubt is true.
