Yay, I would LOVE to hang out with you again, it's been too long! Glad a week sounds about right for Portland. It looks like flying to & from Seattle might be a good plan.

Yay, I'd love to hang with you too! That sounds like a really fun plan, I could spend time in Portland before VVC and then come to Canada to hang with you guys & stay at your place. Then I could get the train / bus back down to Seattle right? Panders should definitely come too!

I'm with you, I'm about 80% sure and I can't fly all the way from Aus just for a weekend so I think I will do a 2-3 week trip. Portland and then maybe LA/Seattle/Washington/NY for other vegan and book blogger meet ups.

I'm looking at 2-3 weeks as well, obviously Portland and probably Seattle, then some nature stuff like Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. I didn't like LA at all last time I was there so I'll probably just use it for its airport. I'm hoping to find cheap flights with Virgin or something, we flew United last time and they were pretty horrible.

Noted: do not fly United - thanks! I've never been to the US but I have a friend in LA so that's why I think I'll start there and then head to Portland for VVC.

I feel like I can't get too excited yet because it's a year away, but I want to get EXCITED!!!!

Hmmmm. There's actually no on-site lodging this year or dorms (since the college we had it at last year is still in session), so it's totally a free for all. I can safely say that I have seen no talk of sharing rooms (maybe because the travel discounts are being posted next week? I will make sure it's posted here!) in the facebook group. There was one conversation months ago about folks sharing an AirBnB. So, the comment section of the upcoming post/page and right here might be your best bet! I will definitely pass along info...
