Japanese schoolgirls are creepy, and the stiff acting made it creepier. The use of the word lonesome over and over again made it seem silly though. It kind of reminded me of Are You Afraid of the Dark. That was awesome.

Why did no-one tell me how brilliant the SoundHound app is? It just let me work out that the annoying two lines of song running on a loop through my head was Windy by the Associates. And now I have the whole annoying song running through my head.

I didn't know you could sing to the SoundHound app! I've only used it when there is a song playing and I can't remember the name.

So I got this pint of free organic raspberries. I'm eating them, and I've noticed three or four spider mites crawling away from the box as I'm eating. I can't stop eating them though! They're so good! But I'm totally eating spider mites now, I'm sure. Vegan?

Our washing machine has something wrong with it that causes it to drain into our kitchen sink. After the first rinse cycle, the sink will fill to the top with water. If you don't take out the sink strainer thingy, it won't drain and it will overflow after the second rinse. Well, guess who forgot to take out the strainer before doing a load of laundry last night? I went downstairs at midnight and the whole forking kitchen floor was covered in water. It took nearly every towel we own to soak it all up. It was Not Fun, and I was really annoyed with myself for not remembering to take out the strainer. I've been in a bad mood all day.

I know I shouldn't be upset about this but my school is closed tomorrow due to power outages. We were supposed to have a test tomorrow, final review Tuesday and then final Thursday. I've been working all weekend on stuff that is due this week.
So now if class is on Tuesday, I'm guessing we get a test on Tuesday, no review then final on Thursday.

Your professor might make some adjustments. I had something similar happen in a few classes back when hurricane Isobel caused problems.
You'll do brilliantly even without any review though!

Actually I'm more upset about the prospect of the test we were supposed to take tomorrow being wiped. It is on a couple of chapters that I really like and feel I'll do well on a test. I don't think the test would be wiped completely, I think it'd be rolled into the final but then it'd be worth less points.
Anyway, after I found out school was closed tomorrow, I watched part of a movie with my husband and decided to play around with GeekTool on my Mac. Not productive but I've been studying all weekend.

I'm tired of hearing news reporters say that a middle school teacher "had sex with" her student. An adult can't have sex with a 13-year-old - there's another word for that.
