I'm not trying to be debbie downer, but post-secondary education these days is very, very expensive, and there's no need to rush things. I think if you're unsure, you should wait. It's not like you can't change your mind later. When it comes to the expense and possible staggering debt associated with college/university, you actually can't change your mind on that.
Yeah, I'm certainly not into rushing things, really I'm just desiring to take two classes in the upcoming fall semester. I'm not even convinced I'll take more in the winter, but if I do, it'd just be two again. And just at a community college for now. I'm pretty convinced that I'd love a BFA, my only reluctance really is that when I look at my future self, I don't see myself doing anything more fancy than opening up a retail business. I look at these schools like OCAC and I want to go! Really badly! But I can't think of a use for the degree. I guess many people go off to become studio artists, I don't really feel that's something that I'd do.
I think taking it slow like that is a good idea! I went to university right after high school and did pretty poorly, then dropped out after the first year. It took me years to figure out what I wanted out of school. I'm still not sure career wise, but I'm passionate about what I'm learning and doing very well grade wise now.
And my debt isn't bad, I qualify for a low income grant that I don't have to pay back, so my loan isn't much. I'm hoping if my grades keep up like this I'll be getting scholarships and won't need the loan.

I hate my parent's internet. This game is taking FOREVER to download.

It's a toasty/sunny 25C out. If I still lived in Aarhus, I would have gone to the woods (and my 'private' beach!) ages ago. Instead, the closest nature spot is about 2 hours away, I'm still too tired from over-travelling to want to go there, and Windows hiccuped so tech support's been helping me to reinstall it, my programs and etc. all morning. (I like our tech support, really. I just wish they hadn't laughed so hard when I asked for a Mac and they brought the standard PC anyway.)

I just finished watching season 5 of Queer as Folk. I watched seasons 1-4 when they showed them on TV (and since then I bought them on DVD) but only just got around to season 5, so much awesome. Was bawling like a baby at Brian and Justin.

Spent an hour and a half talking to a cute person at this meet up on monday night. Went to go find email yesterday off the magazine website they run and they said their email was there and the only one I could find was the submission for publishing email. I don't want to submit to the magazine, which I'm fairly sure I made clear? (the not wanting to publish-it's probable I didn't make it clear I was interested in her, I kind of suck at that) I just want to get to know this person better. *ahem*
What do I do?

Write a clever submission proposing a tea party or, well, whatever you want. Make it clear that it's for the person, not the magazine, kind of in the style of Missed PPKconnections? That's what I'd do.

You're brilliant. This is why I ask the PPK these type of questions. <3

I'm sorry. :( I wish you very quick healing. I remember my first time on crutches not too fondly. On the plus side, arm muscles! I never thought I'd see them!

In a way, I wish I hadn't watched the last few episodes. I hated the ending! Amazing show, though. Probably my all time favorite.

I kind of loved the ending. Although I was really sad when Justin left I knew that it was wrong that Brian was gonna marry him! And I was glad that Mel & Lindsey got back together.
It's such a good show. It makes me want to dig out my series 1-3 dvds, watch them all again and buy 4 & 5 to watch afterwards! hahah.

Today I was at the vet, and someone came up to me and said "I went to high school with you!" and I totally did not remember her at all. But she said the school and the year we graduated, so I must have gone to school with her. I don't know how I can forget people so easily!

Awesome day today!!! We had a team event to celebrate the first 6 months of 2012 and all the hard work we did. We went first to visit one of our agencies in the morning and learned all about how sales agents work, how they handle customers, what products they like best, etc etc etc. Then we had a yummy burrito for lunch and then went to a small village out in the countryside where with two big inflatable boats and two guides went paddling down the river, until a nice little town where we had ice cream and then dinner (to which I had to bring my own burger and tofu because they couldn't handle vegan, but still. At least I had a nice meal). The sun was shining, the water wasn't too cold, and we laughed and took pictures and overall have a really good time. It'll be hard going back to our desks tomorrow!
When we came back to the city it started to rain really hard, I had to bike home but it was so warm that it was like biking in the shower (not that I ever tried). And when I got home I found my package had arrived so now I have a new bottle of lube :)

I came online to have a look at houses with a garden in my area to maybe buy. I haven't even been on to a houses website, but I have bought two erotic books. Best trade?
It's funny that not to long ago I was wondering why you weren't looking to buy a house cause it seemed like the next logical step.
I hope you can find a place that will allow you to grow the veggies without restrictions or problems like you now seen to have on your balcony.

Ha! I eventually made it to the houses website, and I quickly realized that the only way I could afford one is winning the lottery. Seriously, a "normal" house with a little garden close to where I live now? No less that 2.5 million Euros... On the positive side, a 117 sqm apartment on two levels with terrace in one of the houses they are building here in front of my building? "Only" 685.000 Euros... I guess I'll be renting for a looooong time...

Perhaps that something further away from work will have a more reasonable price and that the benefits of a house with a garden will make up for the extra time in commuting?
