I am so tired from work these days and I end up conking out right after dinner then sleeping until 4, when I'm wide awake. At least I have the cat to hang out with.

I was at the wedding of my childhood-and-teenagehood best friend/sisterperson last night. Not in the wedding party since that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense since we're not close now, but a guest. It was the weirdest wedding! The whole thing ran hours late, the couple was not even available to say hello and congrats to until like 10:00 at night. They were being escorted around like celebs and totally untouchable.

Also, I was kind of sad because it was making me realize how much time passes in the blink of an eye. When we were teenagers, there was never a question that we would be each other's maids of honour. And then around age 18, things kind of fell apart and now I was just a guest. I was feeling a bit bummed about it until her actual maid of honour (who is someone I know, and has been friend's other good friend since childhood) came and told me that friend was looking to speak to me all night and was asking about me, and was upset that she hadn't been able to talk to me yet. When I finally did get to talk to her, she told me she loved me and that made me feel a little better about Father Time and how he is relentless with stealing years.

Yay for page 1000! All our hard work avoiding real life has paid off.

Got a show tonight, but I really want to go to sleep.

I bought a loaf of ciabatta yesterday, to use for sandwiches and french toast. I got one sandwich out of it yesterday and when I came down to the kitchen this morning, I found that my roommate had eaten all but the heel of the loaf. Now I am loafless and will not be having french toast for breakfast.

Oh that sucks! I am so sorry. I feel your pain at being loafless.

The last roommate I ever lived with would do this constantly. Its the reason I stopped living with people (besides Mr T now). Also, now I really want fronch toast.

That's pretty much exactly what I came in here for!

I spent the last week on vacation at this amazing AMC camp on an island in New Hampshire. It is my absolute favorite place on the planet, because the lake is so clean and beautiful and the island is gorgeous and undeveloped and so amazing. You stay in tents on platforms or tiny cabins around the island, and there's no electricity or running water. Meals are served family-style at the central lodge three times a day.

I put down on my reservation form that I'm vegan, but I've never been here before as a vegan (I went vegan two years ago, and I wasn't able to go the last two years), so I was pretty worried. The meals have always traditionally been a meat overload with the occasional bit of iceberg lettuce here and there.

The new cook is SUPER into vegetables and locally grown, and he bent over backward to make me amazing vegan dishes. He'd come out to check on me and always ask what I thought of the food, etc. Extra bonus: other than the dishes that were actually a piece of meat, almost all the food he made was vegan on its own. So many amazing veggie dishes, and everyone else at the camp was really excited about it too, which was super cool.

It was amazing, and I had the most wonderfully wonderful time imaginable. I am on cloud nine of happiness, though I'm slowly coming back down to normal.

I think I actually got HEALTHIER while I was on vacation, haha. I must learn to cook like he did so that I can not gain back the weight I lost!

Plus I went trail running regularly, which is now my new favorite thing. I hate regular running, but trail running is FUN!

I am crying watching the end of the wimbledon finals. Even though I was rooting for Roger, poor Andy Murray. Also, how sweet to have two huge cry baby male athletes!

I cried so much! I dont even care so much for tennis, but aaaaah! Poor wee dote!

I know! I'm so so happy for Roger, when so many people in the business had written him off. And even though he's an arse, Andy Murray should be very proud of himself. He played SO well, better than he ever has, this tournament, and he'll win one day for sure.

I seriously could not figure out whether I had fed my dog supper or not. I had to go downstairs and ask my dad if he had seen me feed my dog, which he had. He couldn't believe that I had completely forgotten going downstairs and making up my dog's food and feeding her.

I got the room! Now we're all arranging when the best time is for all the new housemates to meet and have drinks etc. I am beyond excited.

I drank way too much. I have a feeling I'm gonna get up at least once tonight to go to the bathroom. Oh, to be clear, I'm referring to liquids in general, not alcohol.

I'm not really into sports games and tend to be more into games like Zelda and Skyrim. I'm anxiously awaiting the Dawnguard expansion pack for PS3 and then I will make hubby suffer as I have suffered.

Hold on, my nerd is showing. Lemme cover that up.

Yes, when people buy things for you, they definitely come off of your wishlist! We both might be making waffles this week! Yay!

<3 Thank you. It was especially frustrating because I had budgeted for the bread and clipped a coupon for a dollar off. Maybe it's a sign that I should just go ahead and make the panini rolls from Hearty Vegan Meals for Monster Appetites. Not quite the same, but good for sandwiches.
