Let us know if they start selling your pies and I'll make my friend who's living in Memphis go buy a bunch on my behalf It just opened in April. It's called Imagine Vegan Cafe - http://www.imaginevegancafe.com/ - they are great! Is your friend vegan? Awesome! No, she's not vegan. She's vegetarian. But I'm working on it ;)

I am hoping so hard for you! They would be fools to say no. Whenever I eat a tasty vegan meal I and there are only a few dessert options I am bummed, hopefully they feel the same way and want to expand the selections. Of course if only could only choose from your pies, I'd get one of each!

Thank you so much for all the awesome support, you guys! I got there tonight to give them the sample pies, and saw a sign on the door saying they had a family emergency and had to close (they are a small family-run business). I left them a message on their cell phone and hopefully all is well and they will be open tomorrow so I can take the samples then. The whole build-up and then let down almost killed me, but I'm just trying to keep calm and hope everything goes well tomorrow.
Until then, I will hold on to all the awesome luck wished my way!

Okay, I dropped the pies off yesterday at lunch time. I wasn't able to stick around, so I have no idea if they like them, but they seemed pleased at how they looked. I haven't heard anything from them yet, so I have no idea what to expect, but it's out of my hands now. I feel like I did the best I could and now I just have to wait and see. Thank you so much for all of the support and love, it really honestly did make me feel more confident and calm. Also: fupapack wrote: tomorrow you will be epic. This is my new life motto.

I really need to know what flavor pie samples you gave them. I hope this works out for you. It sounds great!

I gave them a choice of any two, and they chose pumpkin cheesecake and sweet potato pie. I was kind of bummed that they picked two that were to similar, but hopefully they enjoyed them.

Good luck! I wish more of us could get ourselves organised well enough to do this - because so much vegan food you can buy is just awful... You're gonna sell heaps of stuff!

UPDATE!
Okay, so it turned out last year that their contract with the woman who did their desserts stated that they couldn't get desserts from anyone else, but they didn't realized that until after they had talked to me. Anyway, their relationship with her has been strained since then, and her contract ran out last month, so they decided to get a few things from me (more than just pies). When she found out (today) she resigned, so now it looks like I'm making a bunch of stuff for them, starting this week!
I'm super excited and nervous, so I need more luck-wishing and good-vibe-sending if you can manage it!
And for those who are curious, here is a list of what I will be providing this week (ironically, no pies):
Raspberry Lemonade Cake Triple Chocolate Cake Cream Cheese Brownies Whoopie Pies Fauxstess Cupcakes Cookie Dough Cupcakes Raspberry Amaretto Petit Fours

How awesome! You're such an incredible baker and cook, Memphis vegans are lucky to have you! Also, everything sounds amazing, but I would eat the heck out of your Raspberry Lemonade Cake!
