Found a pretty decent, warm, cheap, vegan coat at Old Navy, but their sizing is SO ANNOYING. I usually wear a small or medium in their tops, so I tried on a medium jacket, and it looks nice, but when I move my arms, it's tight in the back and shoulders. So I tried the large and it just looks huge and puffy. Tennessee doesn't even get that cold. Maybe I'll just layer sweaters and hoodies forever.

The doomsday storm is about to hit NYC in 2 days, and I have only half a container of TJ's coffee creamer left. My husband was supposed to get it for me and didn't...and unless I go to TJ tonight, where there is probably a line outside the door because of the end-of-the-world and all that, I will spend the next few days trapped in the house, working from home, without TJ's coffee creamer.
How will I survive?

I was just lamenting that I bought candy that no kids will eat. Also the doomsday storm decided that it would turn in a little south than original predictions. Basically, coming directly overhead our area if the trajectory sticks rather than us being on the outskirts of it. I am sending my husband to Whole Foods today for supplies.

My computer's disc drive has apparently stopped functioning even on a semi-regular basis. Glorious.

I have too many Leos in my life. I feel like I have a max of one plus my Dad.
Totally a thing, right CQ?

I have a huge crush on this girl I went on a few dates with and her phone is mostly broken which means she doesn't get my texts half the time which means that I am constantly trying to decide whether texting her again is totally psycho or not.

I've gotten rid of one, but have one left. So no Leo openings. Seriously though, every time a friend has forked me royally, they've always been Leos.
But I guess that is signist of me.

Geminis are awesome. They are so logical and clear. My ex is a gemini as is my sister and they give the best advice.

If it was a floppy drive I'd not be as upset about it not working, because it would be more understandable due to senility. Alas.

I'm so out of it with stress and frustration that I forgot to order my CSA box for this week. Off to the grocery store with me.

I'm out of Earth Balance spread so I'm using up the tub of Smart Balance Light that I don't like very much, because it doesn't melt on toast.

TWINS. As far as I know things with my crush are pretty swell, except the last time I texted him a few days ago I got no response. I just tried again and now I'm all nerrrrvous. Ugh. Go away, feelings.

My vacuum belt broke so I had to order a new one so I temporarily have cat-hair covered carpets and it's annoying me.

I can't decide if I want to take a class at the local community college next semester or not.
And I've spent a couple hours this morning reorganizing my pantry and cleaning up. So much stuff with expired dates, I even ound egg noodles that I bought before I went vegan... 5 years ago.

My oven seems to have a safety feature that switches it off when it gets too hot, which is apparently what happens when you turn it to 275°C with a preheated pizza stone inside and use the convection+broiler+top heat setting. Dear oven, I was making pizza; you were supposed to be hot!

I have the perfect problem for this thread.
I subscribe to Audible because audiobooks keep me sane for my long commutes. Might be cheaper to buy a cd player for my car so I can get them from the library, but whatever.
I just got the new John Grisham, The Racketeer and am about 4 hours in. IT IS SO GOOD! Grisham has been up and down lately, but this seems on form.
But, whaaaa, whaaaa, whaaaaa. I have 7 or so hours to go and now I have to wait until my next drive to work, but I want to FINISH IT NOW. But, if I do, I will have wasted prime audiobook and a book credit.
On the bright side, now I'm looking forward to driving to work Monday morning? (required meeting I don't get paid for)

I have too many clothes and every fall and spring they have to be swapped out between what's in the closets and drawers and what lives in giant tupperware bins downstairs. Today was the day to do the swap. It takes forking hours. Poor me!
On the upside, I get to reevaluate all my clothes every 6 mos and I think this helps me minimize a little and donate/get rid of stuff that's not worn.
