Post your halloween costumes here! We had our uni Halloween party two days ago. I went as a cast member of the Dutch equivalent of Jersey Shore, Oh Oh Cherso, about a bunch of kids from the Hague that go on holiday in Hersonissos, Greece. The girl's nickname is Barbie and this is her:

And this is me.

(at this point I was sweating so much, I lost my eyebrows)

Some people didn't recognize me with the wig and make-up, plus I had taken out all of my piercings and covered up my tattoo with make-up. There were also a lot of people I hadn't met before, so by the end of the night, when I took off the make-up and wig (I have never felt so dirty, ew) people I had been talking to all night were really confused when I said goodbye, haha.

Now, post yours!

Awesome! Can't wait to post pictures of mine...I have some from last night, but I don't like them since the party was so last minute and I didn't have time to make it all bloody! Tonight though!

Great costumes! I had some ideas that fell through so I was going to just do Death from Sandman, but I've been attacked by allergies so that plus the fact that it is pouring outside means that eyeliner is not my friend right now. Also I can't seem to find the big honking ankh. I know it's here somewhere...

I'm not leaving the house for several hours, but I couldn't wait to put on my costume! So until I leave, I'll be walking around my flat like this:

I wish I had a picture of the full outfit. I think my friend does on her camera phone, but I don't have those photos yet. The only thing that was missing was white gloves, but I put the whole thing together in like 6 hours (mostly waiting for paint and glue to dry) so I didn't have time to hunt them down.

I took Eris, the goddess of discord, and turned her into a superheroine:

Image

My skirt is friggin' short. I had a rockin' golden apple and some tacky jewelry and a CAPE. My mask, alas, would not stay on.

The best part, though, was biking to the party in costume. I saw someone walking down the road dressed as an Etch-A-Sketch, the entire cast of Legend of Zelda was at the sammich shop I got dinner at, and I biked past a crew of zombies on bikes. I love Boston at Halloween!

Oh and a friend texted me that a BMW roadster drove past her with the top down, and the two people riding in it were dressed as giraffes. I laughed for a couple minutes straight.

This is incredible- both your costume and the fact that you are the second PPKer I know who is doing this this year!

Nice. I decided on it a year ago after my Daria costume (if you could even call it that) was so completely uninspired in 2009. Thinking about the naked bathtub lady from The Shining next year, assuming I can find a nude-colored unitard.

Oh and thanks for the compliments, guys!

I am Nancy Drew; my sister is gun toting Betty Draper shooting at her neighbor's birds from season one of Mad Men.

Magenta?

Yup....well, technically Laurie Strode from Halloween II (Rob Zombie version), but she was dressed as Magenta. People just thought I was a zombie French maid and it made me feel all stabby.

Thanks! One more:

And this is me after I had quickly washed my face at the end of the party. Still orange galore, but look at my shirt!

I don't have a full body shot because I looked super goofy in all the pics I had and deleted them :( I am Turanga Leela from Futurama and my boyfriend went as a Mexican.
