I totally had a 'too close' moment with clippering my hair today, too, but it turned out awesome in the end so that's okay!

The vegan hot and sour soup I picked up is neither hot nor sour. If anything it's mildly acidic with a white pepper kick.

Yeah, I just didn't expect to look like Rachel Maddow while doing it, haha. ETA: (Not that there is anything wrong with looking like Rachel Maddow - if you're Rachel Maddow and not me.)

My fwp is that it's too cold in my apartment to get out from under the covers to go turn on the heat.
Also, for some reason, although the regional settings on my keyboard are set to US, my keyboard is acting like a UK keyboard. (This has been happening sporadically since I updated to Windows 8, and I can't figure out how to fix it.) The upshot is that (*gasp*) the @ and " have switched places.

I only drink my tea black. Mmm. I only put "milk" in it if the carton is about to go off. Lol
I should put a load of laundry on, but that involves going all the way upstairs, and then coming back down, and that just seems like a lot of work and I don't want to miss the beginning of the new Hoarders episode.
