I went to the eye doctor this morning and my pupils are still freaking dilated. I can see okay enough, it's just fuzzy and giving me a headache. And I have to pay $120 for new lenses.

Why the hot trainer-guy at my gym gotta talk to me while I'm trying to work out? I obviously cannot talk to you and dazzle you with how funny I am when my face is the colour of a tomato and I'm a waterfall of sweat, JEEZ.

Great, my replacement phone doesn't charge properly and getting yet a third replacement is a huge pain in the assignment because I'm not home. I think I'm just going to keep my original phone which is working again.

I also agree with Fee. I never go into the worst things thread. I'm afraid of it. I probably should go into the happy best things thread though! But I feel like I have to look at one to look at the other.

Oh my poor slug, I am very sorry I stepped on you with my bare feet as I went to get a drink of water through the semi-dark, but what were you doing on my dining room carpet?

I'll look at the worst things thread, but if I see anything about animals dying, I quickly back out without reading anymore. That shiitake forks me up.

We're all smart enough people, we'll figure out this thread name soon enough! It'll all be a-okay, folks!

Awesome, now neither my brand new (refurbished) phone or my old one will charge. So frustrated.

GAH! I forgot to make and send my friend a birthday package and her birthday is Monday. Now it's going to get there late and by the time she gets it, I'll be on vacation and won't be able to skype with her to watch her open it.

Husband went to see the set-up for a gig he's working on tomorrow. He said he would be home at 3:30 or 4 at the latest, and it's now 5:30. No text or call or anything. I'm really good about letting him know what my schedule is like, so he'll know when to expect me home. I don't even know if I should start cooking dinner or what. Annoyed.

The same thing is happening to me right now! My dude went to a planning meeting for an upcoming event at 4 and we agreed to meet up at 6, but that shiitake isn't over yet and I don't want to bother him while he's in a meeting being all like, 'Hey, WHEN will you be done (which he probably doesn't even know) because I am wearing a cute dress and want to go out to dinner?' Hurry up meeting!

I upgraded my mobile phone to a frikkin Windows phone (didn't realize at the time) and I use a Mac. It is painstaking sending all my files via Bluetooth. I have itchy hayfever eyes and want to go to bed.

What I do with my husband is, whenever he gives me a time he'll be home, I add 8 hours to it. Usually my guess is closer than his. And then it's either what I expected or I'm pleasantly surprised!!

ETA: Except this time, it'll be like a month later. But who's counting?

My mum gave me a load of fruit, and I've been processing it and putting it in the freezer, but now I've run out of nice freezer tubs and I've still got blackcurrants left to go in! (I've got re-cycled takeaway containers left that I can use, but they quite often crack when you take them out of the freezer unless you're really careful, which sometimes I forget to be).

This is so meta:

I couldnt find this thread earlier today, and so I had to post my minor annoyance in the Worst Things thread.

I put lots of tasty things in my lasagne last night, but I forgot the spinach! I only realized when I took it out of the oven and husband asked if he could use the spinach for a salad. Almost said "Sure, but there's spinach in the lasagne too." BUT NOPE.

It's comparatively cold this morning and I don't have appropriate clothing at my cat sitting job.

I made my lasagna with seitan instead of lentils. It is too meaty.

I wish I had lasagna but I'm too lazy to make it.

My clingy cats are driving me insane.

And oh, ofcourse, BOYS.
