The little blinky "you've got a text message!" icon on my phone won't stop blinking, but I already checked and I don't have any new text messages!

I have more Christmas pudding than I can eat. I've had three slices already today and now I feel a bit sick.

Also, Arabic is an impossible language to learn.

YES! I wanted to say this, but I didn't want to be the only one! I think it's in the works. There's a thread asking about price point and features. Possibly in development for iPhone, lots of people begging for Android, and then I guess me and you with the BBs. Sometimes I feel a little lame, but I mostly I don't even care: I love my BB.

Steam is having connection errors so I cannot check if I'm actually levelling or gaining XP or just wasting my time.

While making cupcakes, I had to go to the store for margarine, then broke my £50 hand mixer and had to finish with the whisk attachment on my hand blender, which produced stiff icing. And then my icing bag popped a seam and squirted icing all over my hand, so I had to finish icing my cupcakes with a spoon and fingers.

I came home from 9 days at my parents with no internet and the world apparently blew up...or at least my apartment did. And sometime this week I get to spend 7 - 12 days in a hotel with my roommate, two cats and three chinchillas because they're tearing down the bridge into my apartment. great.

I reeeeeally don't want to eat the (perfectly good) leftovers that are in the fridge for lunch today. I would much rather go downtown to the new upscale thai restaurant during my lunch break. I'm still trying to decide what to do.

So annoying! I hate when I have missed calls, voicemails, and unread emails and all the little icons are on the home screen.

Also, my first world office shirt was misbuttoned and I didn't notice it until some co-workers pointed it out to me. Oh, the burning first world shame.

My husband refuses to believe that running the dryer and the computer and the hairdryer adds heat to our house. He thinks heat magically gets piped outside, despite the fact that we have no AC and he knows there are no magical fans that direct it outside.

He's also convinced that he has to blow dry himself because otherwise he'll get sick. Despite the fact that it is 95F. According to him towels don't get him dry. He needs to blowdry his entire body.

I bought the giant David Bowie Station To Station boxed set as well as Bowie at the Beeb, but I love the Live Nassau '76 performance so much that I haven't even touched Bowie at the Beeb.
