But of course, in the winter when you would actually appreciate the extra warmth, they are no where to be found.

This isn't my own problem, but I saw someone complain about this on the PPK blog:
Quote:
Oye…another receipie for multiple loaves. Just two people here and no bowls big enough to hold 7+ cups of flour etc. Just once I’d like to not have to use math

That is a beautiful example of a FWP.
It must have been really annoying for Isa, but I thought it was sort of hilarious.

My tablet died for absolutely no reason. I'm used to breaking stuff because I'm super clumsy but when shiitake just dies like that it really peas me off.

Just every day of my life I'd like to not use math. Math-haters unite!

Dealing with the company that did my at home antibiotics. The antibiotics were delivered COD and they say I owe them money. But it was COD and I had to pay for them when I got them - that's kind of the idea of COD! So I don't know why they are harassing me.

There's these amazing looking pretzels at a nearby coffee shop, just absolutely covered in beautiful grey fleur de sel. Egg wash.

Haha I think this comment is what reminded me of the bowl fight. And hey, I feel their pain - I don't like doing math in my free time either. So I bought a big bowl. Problem solved.

My PSPTYHWAEPACTYP is that I haven't watched the newest Breaking Bad and I'm not used being late for this show so I keep almost clicking on the thread and spoiling everything for myself.

I just shopped for 8-week old puppies on craigslist (for science). And now I really want to adopt a puppy but I can't because I live with someone who has to be in agreement before such major life changes can be made. Gone are the days when I can trade a lawnmower for a 10-week old Scottie on a whim.

(I wish I was kidding about the puppy for trade... he's the cutest thing ever and they want $100 or a lawnmower for him. I hope someone nice gets him. I am kidding about wanting a puppy, though. What I want is puppy kisses and wiggles and snuggles and then to give the puppy back to its owner for potty training and stuff!)

Overheard in Santa Cruz, somebody complaining that they wanted to park their electric car in the EV charging space in a downtown parking garage but couldn't because a homeless man was sleeping next to it and he had his iPad plugged into the EV charger.

This town, this town.

Oh god, I just realized that what I typed up there sounds like I was shopping for puppies to use for science. The puppies are not for science, the shopping is! I was testing a theory that I could have an 8-week old puppy in my home by week's end because of an AKC blog post that Tofulish posted in the Yard, claiming that it's some sort of crisis because there are not enough 8-week old puppies to go around. No puppies were harmed in the testing of this theory.

This is a weird one... but it grates on me often.
There are three school buses that drop off in my cul-de-sac within fifteen minutes of each other. None of the care givers are waiting for these kids when the bus arrives. NONE. So I end up waiting in my car 15 minutes behind the bus three houses from mine.

This was a regular thing in spring too. I try to time my trips around that... But really, if you know that the bus is dropping off your kid at a specific time... be ready.

I simply have no clue what to make for dinner and no real inclination to think about it. Pllbbttt.

HAHAHA, yeah, when I read the post my first reaction was oh my god you couldn't possibly mean..., but I figured out what you meant before I got to the end of the sentence. I knew you wouldn't hurt any puppies! :)

I stupidly decided to start downloading the digital version of a record album that I bought recently. It's 11:30 P.M. now, and the internet is painfully slow, and apparently the download will take about two hours. I can't stop it now ("Since each serial number is usable only once, don't stop the download while it is in progress."), and I really want this album on my iTunes. I was planning to go to bed earlyish tonight; guess that's not happening. I mean, I could go to sleep now, and then just shut down the computer when I [inevitably] wake up having to go to the bathroom and/or drink some water. But, you know, there's stuff on the internet to read, and stuff.

My husband and I decided not to go grocery shopping yesterday which means I'm low on a couple items:
Almond (or soy) Milk, frozen berries and bread. I figured since Wegmans has been open a week or so, I'd go today sometime but then I just found out it opened a week late, yesterday. Now I'm wondering if it'll still be a bit swarmed. I hate crowded places so I don't want to go if it is crowded.

Meeeee tooooo! Ugh.

Also, too much daydrinking earlier made me feel headache-y and sluggish all afternoon.
