(I've been drinking K-Cup tea at work. It's... not very good.)

I want Ethiopian food really bad, but the service isn't really great and they give you more food if you get take-out, so that's what we do, but it takes 25 minutes to get there and 25 minutes back, so by the time I go in and pick it up, it's practically an hour round-trip just for take-out.

Still, probably less time than it would take for you to make it on your own ;-)

This is accurate! Last time I made Ethiopian at home, it took about 4 hours.

Wheat gluten in the amounts found in fake meats make my sinuses and phlegm glands flare up a little bit. I'm probably very slightly allergic to it. Like, the world's mildest allergy where I just get a little bit phlegmy and my IBS flares up a little bit. If I was more allergic, I wouldn't eat it, but I'm only a little bit allergic so I forget every single time.

Waiting on a replacement part from Vitamix and keep forgetting that I can't use it in the meantime. I have two other blenders but both are terrible in comparison. And I've been having to soak my cashews!

the awesome all-vegetarian falafel place across from my office seems to have made their pitas about 30% smaller. This is bullshiitake because the whole point of this place (Maoz, it's an international chain) for me is that their salad bar toppings are awesome but now hardly anything fits in the pita!

My smoke alarm battery started shrieking at about 6am. I don't normally wake up till 9 or 10, so I hadn't gone to sleep till around 3, and obviously I couldn't go back to sleep with that thing beeping at me. I had to call maintenance because I couldn't open it and it needs a special battery anyway so I couldn't fix it on my own. They told me someone would come "sometime today". At 3:30pm I called again to find out whether someone was actually coming, and found out that the person I spoke with earlier had not conveyed the message that someone was supposed to come over. Finally someone came over at like 4:30. It took like 3 seconds to fix, but I had to sit here all day waiting, and I had to cancel on a client because I couldn't give someone a massage in my apartment with an alarm beeping. Plus my sleep disorder has been really forking me up lately and it's a really huge effort for me right now to get enough sleep and feel rested afterward, so losing those hours of sleep is completely the opposite of what I need right now.

Oh and my printer is broken. Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh.

Sorry Choirqueer! I get completely nonfunctional when I don't sleep (usually due to my dog and cat horse playing in the middle of the night).

On an unrelated note, not a fan of the iphone update.

The phone I bought off Amazon still hasn't arrived. The delivery period is ridiculously huge - like any time within three weeks, and hasn't ended yet, but I still want to know where it is. It's been two weeks already! It's my birthday present from my mum (who had me order it) and I want to have it on the day, rather than at some random point in October. Grr!

This was my lunch yesterday and it upset me way more than it should have: went to Chipotle. The line was out the door so I went to a Chipotle knockoff (I needed to make lunch super duper fast). It was (insert melodrama) the most horrible lunch I've ever had. How does one fork up pico? Why didn't they have a salt shaker? There was no taste and I was sad and bitter.

Netflix finally made it over here. However, none of the 10 movies I searched is in the Dutch database. FAIL.

I find that even in the U.S., you can't count on what you specifically want to watch being there. There's a great selection, but you gotta browse!

I totally misread this and thought you had a horse that played with your other pets for a moment!

Eventually all of my Pandora channels sound the same (I realize this is because of what I thumb up).
