The more depressed I get, the less likely I am to take a shower until at some point (late in the day) I realize that I'll feel at least 50% less miserable if i take a shower.

My iPad just crashed and I think my life just ended. I have too much stuff on there to restore and completely lack the energy to deal with it.

I especially hate showering after rides. It already takes forever to stretch and put together some kind of appropriate recovery nutrition, and post-ride showers (especially in spring and winter) take forever, because there's so much grit and mud and crepe out there. Bah.

Exactly! And dealing with wet hair is more work than dealing with slightly greasy hair. The only fun thing about showering is when one of my cats wanders in to the bathroom and we play "the shower curtain game" where she punches me on the other side while I tease her on the inside.

Woo dirty vegans!

I go through phases, but I think I'm starting to push the socially acceptable barrier lately.

Oh yeah, count me into the group of waiting as long as is decent (and usually a little longer) between showers. It's booooring! And my haaaaair takes so long to dryyyyyy. Ugggghhhhhhh.

Count me in the showering avoidance group! I will take a bath any day of the week...I can read, have some wine, have a kitty compainion, and even watch Netflix if I want. And I can easily avoid getting my hair wet.

What I came in here to say: Mr. Fizz (without consulting me) put regular dish soap in the dishwasher because we were out of dishwasher soap. We were planning to go to the store in a few hours to get the right soap but he couldn't wait, apparently. So now, instead of going to Sephora to pick out new lip gloss/stick/whatever, I get to stay home and play the clean-the-dishwasher game. Yay.

I couldn't enjoy the last day of the weekend because I spent too much time on too many knitting projects that aren't turning out right.

I broke my bicycle chain on the way home thursday evening. I go to replace it today and discover that my front derailleur is not adjusted correctly. Which is probably why my chain broke in the first place. I attempt to move it back (after loosening tension, etc) and accidentally move it up/down. I can NOT get it to a place where it isn't rubbing the chain or otherwise causing problems. I don't understand. I did, however, successfully put a chain back on and make all the links not stiff. Though I think I have to take it back off and remove a small number of links.

urgh, and I have an especially long commute tomorrow and long rides + computer really are better done on my nice bike, which is the one that's broken. And the bike shops are all closed now. I should have said yes when the mechanics asked if I wanted them to put it on for me. At least they would have discovered the front derailleur issue and known what to do about it. :(

I find being with people more draining than I would like. I love my friends and find hanging out super-fun, but for some reason, afterwards, I am just whipped out and kind of want to go into seclusion for a day or so to regroup.

Leela (my 2.5 year old) is supersocial and just loves being with other people, so I say yes to a lot more social interactions these days.

I know there are several other people who feel the same way on the PPK, and its a very minor problem, but man, I kind of wish that I liked social interactions more.

I like being in the shower. I just don't like getting in or getting out. I'll procrastinate it for ages, and then once I'm in there, I want to stay in there forever.

I love taking showers. One of my PSP. . . Ps is that I sometimes want to take superfluous showers out of boredom. I would gladly take showers on behalf of the shower-haters.

I love showering. It is a struggle to only shower once a day. (And I often don't succeed at it, honestly, and just do it twice...)

Me too. Very environmentally unfriendly of me, especially since I use the hottest water that doesn't burn me.

Molly is a bath fiend too. Some days she will jump in the water bowl and splash around 2-3 times. She requires ice water, the opposite extreme. If it isn't cold enough for her, she will stand there, staring until somebody gets with the program. Very little excites her as much as the clunk clunk from the ice maker.

My eyes are killing me this morning because I neglected to take my contacts out before falling asleep last night. This happens far too often.

My paycheque is about £170 less than I was expecting it to be. I'm not sure if payroll forked up or I just got taxed a lot more than I was expecting. It's a bit of an odd one because new job + emergency payment last month that got deducted from this month's pay, so I'll see what it looks like next month, but considering how forking hard I've been working I'm a bit disappointed.

I'm doing laundry and the pair of shorts that it want to wear are in the dryer. I could wear sweat pants but it's too warm for that in here.

I'm out of coconut rum. I've had the bottle for a few years since I've only ever used it in coconut macadamia nut biscotti, but recently discovered that it pairs nicely with gingerale, of all things.

What am I supposed to drink now? The rest of my stash is expensive stuff that I need to carefully hoard.

Add me to the "I put off showers as long as possible" category. It's probably to my detriment that i discovered using dry shampoo. I don't even buy special dry shampoo and use regular baby powder. It gives me up to three more days between showers while still looking halfway professional at work.
