Oh yeah, we *just* were warned that the Bye & Bye is closed that Thursday (which is a Last Thursday, which is apparently why), so we're moving the meet & greet.....

What about a Friday lunch meet up before the con registration? We could head to Native Bowl and support the lovely Julie Hasson and get a Broadway Bowl. Pre-con PPK (and non-PPK) lunch get down.

I missed out on buying a pass because I was broke but I'll be crashing the Meet & Greet and any other con-adjacent activities. I'm hoping I can attend next year because all the activities sound really amazing.

Nope. I have a vintage green and purple I will most likely wear to the glamarama shindig getdown. I don't really do fancy. if my hair is long enough by then it will be big.

i love that dress so much but two words: swayback adjustment
it will keep the fabric from puddling/bunchy in the lower back area.
collette patterns are great!

It was just pointed out to me that I'm going to be in Seattle for PAX the whole weekend, so I'm going to miss everything. PAX is a week earlier than it has been in the past so I was all confused. I'm totally gutted that I'll miss seeing everyone when they're in town.

for me, since i don't make dresses, fitting the bodice was the hardest part and getting the darts just so. i ended up making a muslin to check out the swayback and bust adjustments. also, i ended up cutting a size smaller than normal but that's about it. the diagrams in the pattern booklet were super helpful.
