I have my plane tickets there, but not back! It was expensive to begin with and I was waiting for it to drop in price, but the deal just keeps getting crappier! Guess I'll have to stay at VVC forever and ever.

I'm getting in town LAAAAAATE Thursday night, and planning on getting a waffle sandwich for breakfast, but other than that I have no plans. I would love to head to Native Bowl with Panda, Footface, and Vijita.

I'm heading out Monday afternoon, and meeting my sister-in-law in San Francisco for two nights. Then, together we're heading down to her new home in San Diego, where I'll be for another 4 nights.

This trip will make up for me heading home, where I'll be spending my birthday alone because my husband will be in England eating all the Cheezly.

I look at the calendar every day and am getting more and more excited! I'm happy to meet everyone, get my learn on, eat really good food and know it is vegan, and I get to be FREE OF THE KIDS.

Casa monkeytoes has a guest bedroom if you don't mind staying with someone you don't know.

I really, really, REALLY wish I could be there, but I have my PhD orientation that week; have fun, take lots of photos, and hopefully I can make it to the next one!

god, so jealous. we have to plan a trip to vancouver next summer to see friends, i think we should purposely plan it right before that weekend so we can also go to this gluttonfest.

I must eat my way through Portland. I also need to figure out a way to work some doughnuts and a friend hand pie in there. Maybe Homegrown Smoker, too. So much food to eat and only a fewstomachs days to do it!

designedtobekind - hogrosmo is like, a 5 minute walk from the conference center AND open on saturdays. it's going to be so tempting!! (and there's even a BBQ/Picnic themed lunch on Saturday, but still!)

My flight doesn't leave until 3:15 Monday, so I should be able to grab my self something for the plane ride then. Because I need lunch for a 90 minute flight, right?

I have to check in and see about what time I have to set up my table, so I may have to miss lunch Friday. I don't yet know where anything is.
