So sometimes we get really small cats, like 2 inches or under, and can't really sell them as teal cats. We must have hundreds of them, though! I need to figure out what to do with them.

Here are my thoughts, tell me what you like and also let me know if you have other ideas.

Teal Cat minis? Maybe with a silver tag instead of a paper one? Or something like that?

Maybe paint them a different color? Like purple ones, green ones, orange ones, etc? But then, they'd still need something special.

But is there another way to repurpose them? Maybe on a picture frame (I don't know how!) or as jewelry?

halp.

(If you don't know what I'm talking about www.tealcatproject.com)

Teal Cat minis! Keep them teal, for sure though. I think minis would be great. A silver tag sounds good too.

I'm not crafty but what about a trio ? Glue them together and teal them up? The teal cat mini trio?

Smash them up and make wee kitty mosaics? Oh, would that be sad? That would probably be sad. Could YOU smash a wee kitty face? No. No, I don't think so. I have a tear in my eye already.

Well ACTUALLY we have a LOT of broken kitties, too. SADFACE. I thought they could be mosaics. But that is a lot of work.

dioramas! jewelry would be cute if they were really small, but it might be hard to turn something ceramic into a pendant. unless you put, like, little harnesses on them, and then you could hang them from that? or put them in tiny cat carriers? now i'm just suggesting that you do a ridiculous amount of unnecessary work. so helpful.

I like the idea of selling them as a set of minis duo or trio. Call them teal cat buddies! Give them cute buddy names!

Well now I want a diorama of a broken, harnessed, ceramic cat in a carrier round my neck. Thanks, acr.

I like this idea. It's less work for you, and someone who does not have a place or real desire for ornaments, but likes to support cat charities, might be persuaded to by something like this, because it is smaller. And they might like the different colour options. They could become collectibles in themselves- the goal being getting one in every colour.

I'm not crafty at all, but when jean said "ornaments" ^ I thought of making festive/occasional type ornaments? Some could be made Christmasy and attach a string to hang on trees and whatnot.

maybe you could make pins out of them, if they had an accessible surface that you could glue a pin to.

all the talk about trios is making me picture little teal cerberuses.

THIS. Package in sets and call them Teal Kittens. Best idea! And maybe assorted amounts of kittens in each litter, depending on sizes of various kittens.

You couldn't just do the same paint & tag but just with a smaller price? I mean, I guess that might sway some people to the lower price point when without that option they would have gone for the higher one... that could be a problem. Hmm...

I think the teal is important to keep consistent, and I think a silver tag sounds like quite the added cost expense for you without really much different appeal to the consumer.

What about the same paint & tag but on the body you have an artist friend draw some little black designs like you have on your new shirt image, for example. You can buy a fancy super fine point permanent marker and I think it would really pretty and classy. And also, probably wouldn't actually take that long, especially once got some repetition going.

I like the holiday ornament idea. Attach a hook to a ribbon collar or glue it to their head?

The tag is almost as big as the cats is the problem! I was thinking a tiny silver tag, maybe not real silver, to class it up. I like the idea of drawing on them, but again, these guys are soooo tiny. I think we'll save the design for the bigger ones. Thanks for all the feedback!

I like it, too! I kept rereading cause I thought you were saying to glue a teal cat to someone's head.

Do the real silver tags and charge 1,000 dollars. And market them as more Eco friendly. And only release 5 per year.
