I always liked the way Gym Class Heroes sounded. I'm not like a huge fan of them or anything (they're alright and Travis is cute), but I love the name. To keep it original I was a little honest and swapped Hero for Zero. Because I sat on my butt a lot during gym class.

It was supposed to be sort of homage to my southern roots, but I don't like it. It was a last minute decision and I've been wanting to change it but I'm too lazy.

In elementary school music class we sang a song about a bandicoot. Kids being obnoxious, everyone started calling me Mandycoot. It stuck!
