I had a second date. :D He was feeling sick, so we just had low-key dinner then went to a coffee shop for beverages and just shot the shiitake and had a nice time despite me being exhausted and him being half sick. Our last date ended in some really awesome makeouts, but cause of the sick thing there was just a few light kisses but he gave me the longest, tightest most wonderful hug I have received recently and was just so horribly sweet and adorable and delightful.
Paranoid tiny Admiral Ackbar inside me keeps yelling, "IT'S A TRAP!" but I just wanna believe that this really is as awesome as it's been and it's probably going to blow up in my face and I am going to end up catatonic in a corner, but for now... YAY.
That was a really, really good part of today. :)

I found out that there's a vegan deli upstairs in the co-op that's a 1/2 block from my house AND there's a vegan place to eat across the street from my house. Pretty awesome...

holy shiitake, my manager just told me I got a customer satisfaction survey from one of my customers that had top satisfaction score in all areas of the survey!
...and I thought I was in trouble when he said he heard from one of my customers!

My first-ever "Excellent" on my PT test! I knocked it out of the park, and I am disproportionately proud. Because normally I half-ass it.

Hard to say...the most uncomplicated "best" part was making Terry's salt & pepper tofu for dinner (which is amazing; if you haven't tried it, you should!), whereas the most bittersweet "best" part happened whilst I was sorting through a pile of my parents' old papers - in search of a Specific Boring Official Document - and coming upon their original marriage certificate from the Birmingham Registry Office, witnessed by my (now long deceased) Nan and my (now 70+) uncle, listing my father's name, rank and serial number, and my "spinster" mum's occupation as "cinema usherette." (Also NB their ages were 22 and 18, respectively. Yes, I grew up in a MIke Leigh movie; what of it?)
