Starting to plan an international trip with my guy! He finally got a passport and we agreed on a destination (Iceland). I love to travel and I'm glad that it is rubbing off on him... a year ago he scoffed at the idea, now he is excited and keeps talking about it!

Vegan Eats World, but with Papa Tofu niter kibbeh. I made it in testing but this seemed way better, maybe the recipe changed or I just made it better this time. I've never eaten it anywhere else, so I have no idea what I'm comparing it with, but it was great. I repeated the breakfast performance today and now it's all gone. Sadface.

This is for yesterday, but I went to a showing of Earthlings at the University of Edinburgh last night and there were easily more than two hundred people there! The whole room was packed out, it was amazing.

We successfully moved and now live in Missoula, MT! I've been giddy for days now. I can't get over the mountains, the air, the clear water, etc. I keep remembering it's not vacation and we get to stay here and that makes my day infinitely better. Though it'll get even better when we get a home and can get our kitty from the kennel.

SO this could also be the worst thing about my day. From what I saw you looked really cute and I like your coat! I couldn't watch the video as I'm at work, though. I really hope they are able to figure things out for you!

Also I loved that reporter's comment about how his issue was solved in 6 hours instead of 60 days because he's basically so much more important then everyone else.

I've made plans with my RL vegan friend for Easter Saturday. I'm going to go to her place after work and she will feed me and booze me and I'll play with her cats and I'll talk to someone in person about animal rights stuff and not feel like a sentimental dork. And I will bake her something tasty. So I have something to look forward to.

Jules! I hope this is worked out soon. If it makes you feel any better, I am fighting for the $3789 Canada took from me for health care premiums that I wasn't required to pay for.

I'm not at work due to industrial action. I slept for ages and ate carrot cake for breakfast.

Waking up next to my sweetie after some really great sexytime last night. And taking the day off tomorrow unexpectedly just because I still have a day left from last year and not too much to do in the office.

Can I have a whole best week?! It's been amazing! I had my first ever Operation Icing bakery stall at Veg Fest on Saturday and after freaking out all week about it being a disaster and nobody buying anything and spending 17 hours baking on Friday I sold out of cupcakes in 3 hours and raised almost £300 for this months charity! I had an awesome dinner with Rachel37 & her husband on Saturday night and then my husband & I went to Dublin for St Patrick's Day on Sunday morning which was super fun. We ate loads of amazing food, watched live traditional Irish music & I drank vegan stout and now we're in the countryside on the west coast of Ireland right by a stupidly beautiful beach. It's epic! Oh & the house we're renting for the next couple of days has a heart shaped whirlpool tub with a motherforking underwater colourchanging light show, it's so ridiculous!

Where are you on the west coast? My aunt lives on the Moy, near the Mayo/Sligo border.

It's near certain I'll teach GED over the summer. This means I might be able to afford a trip soemwhere or a new laptop. I need the new laptop more as I have no working computer right now and ran out of patience, glue, and string for fixing my two old ones.
Also, nail polish. I can order something without too much guilt.
And Molly is so pretty! Her scruffiness has bloomed into lots of shiny, pretty, healthy new feathers all of a sudden. She isn't currently speaking to me though because I gave her an unwanted bath (my sake, not hers, as it helps keep the feather dust down and me from sneezing).

I had the most awesome falafel meal with slaw and rice today in an omni place. Like, they sub soy yoghurt for yoghurt yoghurt in their meals? THAT'S NEVER A THING HERE! NEVER. So impressed.
