There's a place near a venue I go to sometimes that's open till 3am and costs less than $3. It is the best thing. The best thing about my day thus far is making the Peanut Satay Dragon bowl that Joshua linked to a while back for lunch. Yum!
Also, feeling better enough to actually cook something and getting a bit of my appetite back. I still feel like shiitake though but better than yesterday when I felt like explosive diarrhea.

At work, we usually order lunch every other Friday (on paydays) and it's usually chinese or thai, since they're the only places that have good vegan options. But I found out last night that we're within the delivery radius of 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe. Vegan pizza delivered to me at work!!! GAH!
I convinced everyone to order from here and two people already said they're getting non-vegan, but two of the biggest tofu-phobes in the office agreed to split a vegan pizza with me!

I got an A+ in Civic Agriculture! A+s make me really happy. This was my first term taking 16 credits instead of 12 and I thought it would bog me down and negatively effect my grades but I did really well. My GPA for this term is gonna be higher than a 4.0!

The best thing about my day was when an old guy at the nursing home asked why he wasn't getting Ensure anymore and I said it was because we didn't want him to gain too much weight and he said "OH shiitake!"

The project I've spent the last two months working on is complete, including the paper that I had an insanely hard time writing. (The professor is an expert on the subject I did my project on, so it was really hard to know how much I needed to say about various things and also uh, some of it was afraid of getting into too specific of details on lest he call me out for being dead wrong.) I finished it! I turned it in! I am going to party so hard tonight!
(By which I mean I am going to probably drink a beer, watch an episode of Breaking Bad, and fall asleep on the couch. Gangsta.)

Glasses in a week! US eye tests scared me, so I put off trying Dutch ones (figuring they'd be worse). But bun assured me they were a breeze, so I waltzed in to make an appt. today, and waltzed out an hour later with an order for super light, super professional copper frames for conferences & other grad stuff.

I'm assisting with a 10 Saturday community art project and I love it and the woman I work with, who I've known for 12 years, and we just have such a great rapport and the kids we're working with are pretty awesome... But anyway, today she and I had to flip these huge slabs of clay, 50 pounds each, and inch-ish thick, 40 in x 25 in, so HUGE and we totally rocked it out and didn't mess up any of them, but after the first one, she said, 'That was AWESOME!' and we high fived. That was the best part of my day.
