For my part, I get to go to Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary for their open house with a group from the TVA this weekend!!! Got my confirmation e-mail that I have a seat on the bus that's making the trip!!!

I will be there! I hope I see you. I think we'll be arriving around noon. Cedar Row is my happy place and I am so looking forward to being there this weekend, gimme hugs if you see me!

That's exciting, poopie!

I'd love to hear how you use it for baking. It's great for cashew based sauces be ause you don't need to soak them first.

I don't like using it for hummus because it's a pain to scrape it all out, but it does make it lovely and creamy.

Ours is over 20 years old and was perfect until I recently broke it by trying to blend a metal spoon. Do not recommend blending flatware. Most people are probably smart enough to know this without a PSA. Luckily, you can buy parts cheaply enough so it's fixed back up for another 20 years. They really do last forever.

I hope to see you and will be giving you hugs! Lard knows, we need them lately. <3 <3 <3 I'm totally excited about going it's my first time. I might bring some stuff to donate to the bakesale, too, if it's feasible and I have time to bake Friday night.

My best thing for today is that in the mailbox was a present for me from pandacookie! The VVC cookbooklette! Such happiness to flip through it, I want to try all the recipes. Thanks so much, panda!

Thanks for the PSA! I'm so super paranoid about doing something like that (or, you know, blending my fingers off or something)! Right now I'm just trying to get used to how forking crazy powerful it is, and also not be afraid every time I turn it all the way up.

I make a lot of creamy pies with cashews, and at least one cheesecake a week, and my food processor was really struggling with that stuff. I'm hoping the newer wider jar on the 750 will make it easier to clean stuff like hummus out, because I love me some super-smooth hummus!

Hurrah for your Vitamix Poopie! You make magic on an ordinary blender, so I'm stoked to see what you do with this!

A thousand yays to everyone's best things. So many awesome things happening!

My best thing is that I'm eating a hot slice of homemade bread with EB, while relaxing on the couch sans children. (One at daycare with friends, and one is napping in the bedroom!) It's quiet, peaceful, and smells soooo wonderful in my apartment.

I am so excited that you have something to look forward to Boober! I hope you have all of the fun.

Nebraskalaska: That is SO AWESOME! I really admire that, because I've always been afraid of negotiation like that. Good for you!

Bodhi: That sounds delightful.

Cheers to everyone!

I'm stoked because it feels SO GOOD to not be screaming at my family and/or crying all the time. The Zoloft is so far proving to be a good thing (now that I'm not konked out sleepy from it all day).

I had a pretty crepe afternoon, but my husband was so sweet and really helped me and took care of things so that I could try to calm down. I am really grateful for him. <3

There was mango sorbet at the staff meeting/ice cream social tonight, so I didn't have to watch everyone eat dessert without me. I topped it with strawberries, blueberries, and oreo pieces, and it was delicious.

My boyfriend got me a washer and dryer for my birthday! I came home today to find them sitting in my formerly empty laundry room and was completely surprised.

There was the most hilarious bow! He couldn't find one big enough, so he bought some red felt to try to make one. The end product looks like a dog bone with some ribbon poking out.

I had my last session with my therapist today.

I brought (store bought) cookies to kind of celebrate that, and she said she had considered to give me a small present to mark the end of therapy but due to circumstances wasn't able to do it.

It was good to reflect on the changes in the last four years.

I also got two packages today, (brake pads and electrical stuff) so I can do some more work on the motorbike this weekend.
