What a nice day. My hairdresser, who I haven't seen in almost 2 years, came over and did my hair before my job interview. We chatted and laughed and swore a ton as usual. I missed her a lot. Then I had a great job interview. Then I went and visited my husband at his work where all his co-workers were crossing their fingers for my interview. Now my husband said it's been a full week for us so let's get our pennies together and have a nice meal at Veg Out. I will not argue.

I am crossing my fingers for you, PPPP! I'm so glad Mr. T has been so hugely supportive of you. I wish nothing for the best! I hope dinner at Veg out is FANTASTIC.

Today was the last day of the full responsibilities of payroll for me! I have some clean up of mistakes (ugh, I make them every time, this old payroll thing was way way way too complicated) and random other things to do, but I'm FREE from this old broken payroll system! YAYYYYY

Fingers crossed over here as well, PPPP!

I had a happy moment earlier today because a new friend texted me to ask me and my dude to hang out with her and her husband this evening. I really like her a lot, and I have a hard time making friends, so it's pretty exciting. Doubly exciting is a couple date, because I've always secretly (ok, not so secretly) wanted couple friends (not specific to this relationship, just in general and always) to do couple things with. You know the drill, usually there is at least one person in the group of 4 that someone doesn't really like. But T and I love both of these two, and they seem to like both of us as well! Triply exciting because even though my guy was talking about having a quiet night in with takeout because he has to get up super early tomorrow, he still wants to go meet up with them before takeout time. Whee!

Thanks everyone! <3 I love the PPK. Always there to pick you up when you're down, and there to celebrate the good things, however small. I hope y'all have great weekends.

I can't even stand how amazing this is. I wasn't going to watch it, because it's longer than 30 seconds, but it's so amazing and hilarious. Especially the very last line; I may have snort-choked.

Good luck pp!

I got a new iPad, so I'm giddy with excitement. I did a lot of slick rationalization to make the purchase, and emptied my summer fund, so now I'll have to start practicing fiscal responsibility. New iPad has 4x the ram and is 8x faster than old one, plus retina screen! It's glorious.

I can also hook this one up to my projector at school and use some science demo apps. This will be awesome for astronomy and weather! My old one didn't had VGA output.

My old one is a first gen, but maybe some kid would want it. I'm not how to find who to give it to. I'm also apprehensive because from what I see, kids trash everything they get whether it's theirs, mine, or the school's.

My mom and I are both scared of hurting our new iPads, so we are using them out of the box. I felt silly then went upstairs and found her doing the same thing. Maybe we can trim the side s and cut out button holes.

I hope I can find a proper cover quickly. Right now the Apple leather case is the only option.

Spent the afternoon and evening out at my parents' house - which had the potential for disaster, but it was really nice! My sisters brought their kids and all the cousins played, and had a hay ride, and after it got dark we had a bonfire. The weather has finally gotten cooler here so I spent much of the time in a cozy sweater, drinking beer and sitting in the hammock chair on the porch, overlooking the back pastures and watching the horses. It was pleasant, and a much-needed break.

Is it an iPad air? Or an iPad 4?

Mine is an Air, I'm guessing that is what LW has as well since that is the one short on case styles right now.

Yep, that's what I was thinking to clarify because I figure there are fewer cases available. Apple! You saucy minx!

Thanks , I'll look.

What I want is a dodo case again, only not one that is a piece of crepe that falls apart and is not actually supported the way the company promises. (They promised FOUR times to send replacement pads, twice by phone, before I gave up, threw my case away and got one that works).
