I won a copy of Quick and Easy Vegan Celebrations! I got to spend the day with my boyfriend and snuggles with my kitty babies :)))

i had a lovely morning. i'm not working this week, so i slept in super late, then took a long beautiful walk with the dog and it was a crisp sunshiny fall day, perfect for walking. then my sweetie and i went out for chinese food and i tried some soy gluten in garlic sauce that was a winner. what a great morning! (or...afternoon...)

the best thing about yesterday was nerding out about obscure languages with my roommate! i busted out my old bengali textbooks and we decided that we should learn/relearn bengali together.

A Rx is a medical term for "prescription", i.e., your medications.

it's hard rubbish week (where everyone puts stuff they don't want on their front verge to be picked up by tip trucks) so we went around and scored some new chairs and stuff. woohoo!

So far the best thing about my day is my bf didn't go to work so that means I get to hang out with him today and my little girl Arte came to visit me in bed this morning, if you open up the covers she will climb under them and wander around, I can feel her little furry body rub up on my legs and back. Hehehe she is so sweet.

I finally got a hold of tech support and it only took 45 minutes on hold which is a lot better than yesterday's 2 1/2 hours and never reaching a person!

On my two chemistry pre-labs so far this semester, I have gotten 88% on both. On my first lab report, I got 84%. I do actually feel now like vet school is within my grasp.

Today for the first time that I've seen, the work cafeteria had bbq tofu by all the meat choices on the salad bar. They did it well and my salad just got a thousand times better!
