I took a number anyway, saw that they were 20 numbers away, and decided to do my grocery shopping (nonperishables) as I waited. I finished, dropped my food off in my trunk, and went back into the DMV. They were about 4 numbers away from mine. Instead of waiting forever, I waited only a few minutes. AND I got the best driver's license picture I've had so far! Then I went into the liquor store and found chocolate wine. yay on the dmv timing! i have only seen chocolate wine once and it looked kind of creamy/dairyish. curious what brand? is it good? it sounds kind of weird but i do like chocolate and wine.

I found a Tofurky roast at the grocery store! There's more than a month to go for thanksgiving, but I bought it out of fear it wouldn't be there next time. So. Forking. Pumped.

I got lots done. I cut the fabric for my Halloween sewing project, washed all the fabric for another sewing project (and found my Alexander Henry Muertos fabric) visited my sister and finished re-lining the guinea pig enclosures with new plastic sheeting. It's lovely to see the piggies so clean, comfortable and happy. It's also been a lovely day and I got to crunch autumn leaves underfoot.

I found some lovely arrangements to play on the uke. Dr Uke's version of Wouldn't it be loverly was the most recent, but I like several arrangements on there. I also like that it makes it quite clear that on the uke the same arrangements of strings can have different chord names a lot of the time, which I sort of knew already but hadn't been graphically displayed to me before.

It's pouring and I love rainy days spent at home so I just left work really early. I NEVER do that kind of thing, and it feels glorious.

Finally getting to the baked goods stall in the market that does vegan goodies. Bought two muffins and a cookie the size of my head. I met Thai boxer for a quick coffee and ate the whole cookie out of my bag in the coffee shop. I'm now going to have the banana and chocolate chip cookie.

I got a 5kg bag of wheat gluten delivered today, and when I texted my husband to let him know it had arrived, I got the response: "Yes! Sausage party tomorrow!".

Two different people phoned me up and offered me casual work for next week (I finish my afternoon job this Thursday). I will be able to afford food next month at this rate! Also, it's nice to be wanted.

Woke up in a way better mood than yesterday! Thank jeebus, cause I was pretty dang cranky yesterday.
Bike ride was nice too, and it was the first morning of being in a two-dog household... I enjoyed that.
